Ali Shine is a Rapper from Brooklyn, New York. A member of the World Famous Medina Green. Shine started off in his teens opening for some pretty big acts, such as Digable Planets and Tek from Smif n Wessun.

His career got a big jump in the early 2000′s joining the group Medina Green, then known as one of the best underground acts around. This was solidified by the release of “Crosstown Traffic” which was one of the best songs on the – in my humble opinion – ULTIMATE compilation album of all Hip-Hop times, Soundbombing II. Honestly I could could count on one hand the albums I listened to more often that Soundbombing II.

Ali Shine did several songs on the the releases Funky Fresh n the Flesh volume 2 and U Know The Flex vol 1. In 2008, Ali Shine released Cant Stop The Stepper: the mixtape worldwide.

Da Chief  is a North American rapper, writer and entrepreneur who was born in Methuen Massachusetts in 1976. At the age of 14 years old Da Chief started freestyle rapping with his brother in law who became his mentor.  In 2000 Da Chief opened Money Matters Productions. In 2002 he performed at the Spanish Festival in Lawrence Massachusetts. He released 2 albums on the streets with the label.
           In 2004 Family Affairs Records was founded and released 3 records on the streets thus far. Da Chief is responsible for bringing Tony Sunshine, Maino, Opera Steve, Prospect and Terminology to many events in New England.  In 2010 Family Affairs Records  opened Insight Studio in Manchester, New Hampshire. Thomas Owens also known as “T.O. Tha Student” was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. At
the young age of 7-years-old he acknowledges his love for music. During that time Thomas
would sit in his room and listen to old hip-hop tapes that his mom had sitting around the house.
Which many of those tapes featured artist like Slick Rick. He fell in love with the way that Slick Rick would use storytelling, and his clever use of words in his music. At the age of 11-years-old, Thomas’s mother bought him a keyboard. Almost immediately he fell in love with the sound of beats after countless nights of trying to master the keys. His most favorite memory in music is when he was 12-years-old and Flesh N’ Bone of the group “Bone Thugs N’ Harmony” freestyle for young Thomas live inside his home. As of that day he has been driven to do music. Thomas attended Glenville High School where he was a member of the Men’s Baseball Team. After graduation he received a baseball scholarship to Myers University where he played for two years. After his second year at Myers, he transferred to Cleveland State University where he joined Iota Phi Theta. During his fourth year of college he participated in a flag football game that turned into a day he would never forget. At some point in the game he shattered his entire left leg. This incident has encouraged Thomas to focus more on his music and studies because he was not able to play collegiate sports due to his devastating injury. While he began to recover from his injury he wrote and recorded his first mixtape entitled “Financial Aid” hosted by DJ Dav. In April 2010, Thomas joined Cleveland’s own upcoming independent label “Real Muzik”. Thomas says, over here at Real Muzik there are a lot of likeminded people who works hard to succeed in the music business. He says he plans to release his second project entitled “Real Genius: The Book of Greatness Ch. 1” late winter of 2011. This project will have features from Real Muzik’s own Chick Da Flyest, and Erika Kayne, Chris Da Kidd, and OpTiOnZ. Thomas has had numerous shows in the Ohio area. He has performed at the University of Toledo, Youngstown State University, Cleveland State University, Cleveland Club Dream, and Cleveland Club Life. His style of music is very different in the eyes of others because of his voice, delivery, and the way he use words to illustrate current events. Thomas uses his knowledge and vocabulary from college and the streets to create his unique sound. He says, “My best attribute is my word play. I really pay close attention to the words I use in my songs because I am an artist that likes for everything to make sense.” His favorite artist is Lupe Fiasco as of today. Thomas also stated that his best quality is listening. He say’s this because you tend to learn more when you listen. When
he listens to music, he listens very closely to receive the message the artist is giving, and that’s
how he wants others to listen to his music, closely.

Erik Roger Diener (born September 6, 1978), known professionally as Ziplok, is an American producer, rapper and entrepreneur.

Early life


Erik Roger Diener. was born in Nashua, New Hampshire, on September 6, 1978, to Doreen Cunningham and Roger Diener, who are from Vermont and Connecticut. Diener’s family moved to Hudson, New Hampshire.  From kindergarten to 8th grade, Diener attended Tabernacle Christian School in Hudson,New Hampshire  and attended Alvirne High School. Diener got a GED in 1999.

Career


In 1998 under the alias Mr. E, Diener purchased his first microphone and Tascam 4 Track recorder and began recording instrumentals and local artists from the Boston area.

In 2000 moves to Clearwater, Florida and changes name to Ziplok furthermore naming the studio Ziplok Studio. In 2001 Ziplok went to Installer Institute in Holly Hill, Florida to learn advance speaker placement and car audio and security. In 2002 releases the mixtape Big Mouths Yapping Volume 1 eventually to return to New Hampshire in 2004 to release his first solo release Zip It Up EP. In 2007 Ziplok releases his first full length album Internet Fire his first LP. In 2008 Diener was co-signed to hip hop super producer Bang Out and recorded the two hit songs Ur A Hata and Whiteboys which both songs are on the album titled Ziplok released in 2012. Also that same year Diener released the single NASA featuring Rampage The Last Boy Scout.

In 2011 Diener moves back to Saint Petersburg, Florida where he recorded his first music video Excuse Me with production from Bang Out the same year moving again to Atlanta, Georgia. 

From 2011-2016 Diener stayed in Atlanta, Georgia and recorded and released the song Turn Up feat. Young Dirty Bastard and also performing at many clubs in the Atlanta area.  

In 2019 Ziplok created the independent record label Marijuana Records signing himself as a producer and rapper with all future releases under that name for publishing.

From 2016-2020 Diener worked with many artists and shortly lived in Houston, Texas, Fayetteville, North Carolina, Columbia South Carolina, Saint Petersburg Florida and by 2020 returned back to Clearwater Beach, Florida to celebrate 20 years where it all officially started.
