To The Trees is a four piece synth-rock band from Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. Their music is driving and atmospheric, with pulsing rhythms and lyrics that explore themes around the authenticity of deeper connection with ourselves and others. Formed in 2015 by Katelyn Bearinger (vocals/synth), Mike Johnson (guitar), Trevor Martin (keys/vocals) and Jake Bursey (drums/percussion), To The Trees have just released their first studio EP available now at https://www.tothetrees.ca.

Haunting, melodic and complex; Safe As Houses is a five-piece alternative-folk outfit from Kitchener, ON. "Lucky Lucky (Deluxe)" is out now.

Dazzle camouflage is unlike other forms of camouflage; the intention is not to conceal, but to mislead. Recognized by its use of bright colours and unusual geometric patterns, dazzle made it difficult to judge the true nature of what lies beneath.  This concept of 'hiding in plain sight' became an unexpected but obvious thread that ran through the Toronto alt-pop band HIGHS’ debut album.  

Since the 2013 release of their self titled EP, the band, made up of Doug Haynes, Karrie Douglas, Joel Harrower, and Paul Vroom, has veered from its signature tropical pop sounds into heavier, moodier territory.  Dazzle Camouflage, released in April 2016 in Canada and set for a November release in Europe, is a kaleidoscope of imagery and bold colours combining vibrantly upbeat instrumentation with thoughtful and passionate lyricism.  Produced by Luke Smith (Foals, Depeche Mode), the 11 track LP explores the theme of perception versus reality.  The way we as individuals are perceived and the way we try to mislead to portray ourselves as something we’re not.

We're four guys from K-W playing catchy, melodic rock with the occasional foray into dischord, and the odd lap steel or mandolin tossed into the mix.

Since March 2015, we've been releasing a new single every month, and we're going to continue right through until February 2016.
