Alyssa's Boca Birthday Mix 06-01-2024

This mix was recorded live at the after party for the amazing Jamie and beautiful Kendra's lovely wedding at the Red Room in the Crystal Bay Casino in Lake Tahoe.  I was fortunate enough to play the second half of the party after the incredible Chango.  The space was incredible with a light up dance floor from Tahoe LED Dance Floors and the always great decor of the Red Room at the CBC.  I had such a blast playing this set for all of the lovely people who attended, and kept rocking and dancing until closing time.  It really filled my heart with so much love and gratitude. Christmas All The Way 12-10-2024

Welcome to Thanks For The Smile.

Here we are, at the winter solstice, and just before Christmas.  The days are at their shortest, and this time of year has the dimmest light.  It's a time of rebirth, renewal, and regeneration, as we traverse the vertex of the solar cycle.  Getting here has been difficult, and no doubt more challenges lie ahead, but there is hope as soon we will see longer days, and a brighter future, as we make our way back toward summer. 

Making this mix has been a process.  It has challenged me in so many ways.  It has taught me to be a better DJ, and a better person.  I am incredibly grateful for all of the lessons. Many thanks for all of you for listening, for supporting me on this journey, and for being a friend when I've been in need.
