World Canvas is proud to present a solo body of work by Finnish multimedia artist Kaino Wennerstrand. 'For Those Who Wait' is the debut release on their new artist moniker Kaino Kim Vieno.

The album at hand navigates a theoretically informed intersection of music and experimental sound art, which manifests in compositions encompassing and subverting contemporary genres. Over the course of its 9 songs, ‘For Those Who Wait’ engages with contemporary genre tropes and intertwines them with critically inclined speech fragments and vocals. The unfolding body of work is captivating combination of estranging and intriguing experimentations & beautiful moments sparkled in-between.
The album was made in collaboration with Helsinki-based producer and sound designer Murrettumeri (Henri Nikkilä).

Kaino Wennerstrand is a renowned and awarded Finnish multidisciplinary artist, whose works have touched upon topics such as elderly healthcare and European Union’s history and future.
Wennerstrand also works as a part of musical performance art duo Biitsi with Heidi Wennerstrand.

Hi I'm Afonso Arrepia Ferreira and I write music as FARWARMTH.

q. is there a story behind the mix? how did it come together?
I always try to weave some sort of storytelling into my mixes, what the story is about however... that's up to the listener.

q. in your opinion, what would be the ideal circumstances to enjoy your mix?
Either headphones or nice speakers, so long as there is good bass and silence around you, make yourself comfortable.

q. describe a favorite object in your living room...
The couch where I sleep much better in than my bed.

q. are you working on any projects right now (music or not music)
I'm currently preparing my next album release and planning some events for the year.
