Formally A Raven Named Marie now Living Dead Marie - The Mortician Mystic - Also known as Raven X Corvinus--an experimentalist of different electronica best reflecting whatever mood I may be processing at the time of producing tracks which range in dark and obscure to trip and ambient and most definitely something getting your body amped, pumped and moving. As I continue to build a portfolio and showcase the experiments I've made as an effort to cope with my sometimes crippling depression, soon I'm to incorporate my other elements I take quite joy in playing such as doomy gloom metal and classical goth to hopefully enhance and honor the many obscure and post-punk artists that have inspired me to make the music I love to create... I may not be someone everyone wants to hear but somewhere someone might like what I've made and enjoy these works in the same manner that I share with myself and just want to share with others some of the things that I like and thinks others might like it, too. If not, that's okay - I do this for myself and I don't need to please whoever rejects what I made for myself as I am my worst critic and no one's harder on me than myself so thus the outsiders of me are invalid and popularity is insignificant, but alas, it would be kind of nice to share and have others enjoy my creations as I do... Anywhoo, thank you for stopping by and showing your support if you do and if you don't, umm thanks for reading I guess and have the dayist day a day can day a day and maybe go fuck yourself if that'll make you feel better just keep away from me and my music cuz I like it, not you so idc if you do or not, so don't be an asshole or be an asshole elsewhere :) meanwhile, moving on--I consider myself quite eclectic with my musical tastes and I'm a bit of an audiophile, music is life and life without music would be very dull and might as well be dead and even death has it's rhythm that ripples in silence or there would be nothing at all to know what we're hearing if we heard anything at all almost like being deaf but even the deaf can feel music like we hear it and if we couldn't, we'd all go mad from the silence of our thoughts. Music is the universal language we all understand and I can't imagine our world with it... Music is the healing expression that gives my emotions and thoughts a voice and an identity, without it I blend with the void making everything vague and not peculiar or particular from anyone else lest being the outcast. Music is my best friend and has always been there when I needed somebody the most, I get lost in music sometimes which isn't a bad thing but sometimes I need to lose myself in music in order to find myself. Long story short - I fucking  love music, okay!? lol, I will give any song 30secs of my time but anything longer or more than that will have to be good enough to devote my attention otherwise I move on... Did you know that with an average of 30,000 days we live on this planet someone may listen to as many as 5,000,000 songs in their lifetime but in general people may listen to about 1,000,000 if music is a really big part of their life whereas some might have exposure at least 10,000 times in their life which means they might've heard 800-1,000 different songs in their life which isn't too bad until you realize that is 0.018% of the potential maximum amount of songs one could be exposed to during their lifetime but in general we'll listen anywhere from 3,000-300,000 songs in our life, and there are like 82,000,000+ (and counting) songs around the world.... There's so much amazing undiscovered music out there and so little time to experience it but I enjoy what I can while I can so if any fellow artists gave me a listen, I'll return the same. Lennie Gallant, an acclaimed East Coast songwriter with sixteen albums and numerous awards, released in June 2025, Shelter From the Storms, his first English album in seven years. The album reflects on the turbulent times we live in while celebrating the human ability to navigate through hardship with community, love and laughter.

Gallant’s iconic song Peter’s Dream was inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, and one of his albums even traveled aboard the International Space Station, orbiting Earth 248 times—which Gallant jokes finally gave him “high rotation worldwide!” He has shared the stage with symphony orchestras and numerous artists, including Jimmy Buffett, who featured him as a guest vocalist and co-writer on his final album.

Lennie also performs with his partner, Patricia Richard, as the Francophone duo Sirène et Matelot. He has been honoured for his humanitarian efforts, and was appointed to the Order of Canada for his storytelling and songwriting.
