Considered one of the pioneers of the Nu Skool Breaks sound and an innovative person in trying out new sounds Adam Freeland had many a hit back in the day. Heading the very start of the breaks scene back in the late 1990's and playing the very most underground acts of that time Adam promoted the very early breaks music through DJing and the Breakbeat Show at Kiss FM as well as starting his own record label Marine Parade records. Never one to shy away from making white label bootleg records back then he went under various aliases, but you could always tell it was him from his particular style of music production.

This mix was recorded live back in 2004 at Roxy, Prague and contains basically all of his greatest hits, enjoy this 2hr 30min set.

One of the pioneers in the early 2000's breaks scene Lee Coombs became a popular artist and DJ after releasing music on the world renowned breaks label Finger Lickin Records. Lee has a special style in music so when the Tech Funk genre started to flair up he fitted right in with that close to 4 on the floor and a hint of breakbeat. Lee is still around today and has been airing streams over the internet during these CO-VID times.

This mix was recorded for Triple J Radio Australia in 2004 and is an example of Lee's musical style.

Throwback to 2004 and the legendary ‘Fuzzy Breaks’ parties in Sydney! To be honest I thought the guys were crazy for trying to take breaks to a bigger stage like the Metro in Sydney. But those parties blew up and before long the guys had expanded to the Hordern Pavillion which was wild! I’ll be honest, I don’t actually remember this party (Fuzzy Winter Breaks 2004 at the Hordern Pavillion) ha ha but thankfully I have an extremely rare live recording of my set from this party which you can peep right here! The Glastonbury Festival is a five-day festival of contemporary performing arts that takes place near Pilton, Somerset, UK. In addition to contemporary music, the festival hosts dance, comedy, theatre, circus, cabaret, and many other arts. Leading pop and rock artists have headlined, alongside thousands of others appearing on smaller stages and performance areas.

This mix was part of Annie Nightingale's Glastonbury Breakbeat Special back in June 2004.
