Raised on bands like Depeche Mode, Ministry, Front 242 and Skinny Puppy - Mike knew that when he was in high-school he wanted to be involved in creating dark, electronic music. 

In the late 90s Mike started to DJ at clubs spinning underground parties and events playing tech-house, deep house and trance. Shortly after, Mike started to produce tech-house and dove deep into working on new music and releasing tracks on various internet labels. The artist name he went under at that time was M’Ocean which was put to rest.

After a long hiatus, Mike decided it was time to get back out there and do what he loves to do, which is to bring great underground music to the masses. These days Mike gravitates more towards darker sounds like EBM, hard-techno, goth and industrial. Mike says, “it feels good to dip back more into my roots and continue that dark style.”

Let yourself be carried away by the hard and industrial techno sound of the 29-year-old Berliner "Japau". His style is characterised by driving and pushing baselines but also hard kicks that shape his unique industrial sound. You can expect an audiophile listening pleasure in the dB limit range!
Japaus passion for techno flared up in 2013 when he accidentally ended up at a techno party in Berlin's famous "Arena Club". He was immediately infected and since then, techno has been an integral part of his life and he can no longer imagine life without it. His fascination with DJing reached its peak after countless nights of partying, when Japau bought his first own controller - a Pioneer DDJ-400.

Redoxist stands for infinite - infinite variety in the form of absolutely driving kicks, over vocals, to melodic impacts. 
The Berliner visited almost every techno club in the scene and began to be fascinated by the composition of sounds and different techno genres. Through his contact with the label PA•RA•DO•XON and the close friendship to the members, he was finally spurred to try it himself and now works from his passion on his dream realization.
