Hardcore DJ & Producer CHIMERA has came out of no where after having a couple of years under his belt thanks to the 23rd Precinct & Timecode Studios with his tracks already signed to Obsession Records, Vindicta Records (FR) and more. The style of his tracks cant quite be to put into a certain category with the techy synth noises you would expect from techno and such fused with the darker & harder edged ambience and kicks it stands out to be different.

Chimera has played at the UK's largest party's & festival's such as making his debut HTID - Sanctuary Outdoor 2012, BackToTheFuture, Twisted Event's - Impact & Darkside, Showtek Tour 2011 o2 Glasgow & the huge Master Of Hardcore World Tour at The Arches in Glasgow.

HTID In the Sun 2012 Spain With Lost Origin seen his first taste of a over sea venue then DJ'ing on the live broadcast of Thunderdome Radio NL on their Dominator/Nature One Special closing the show after Re-Style & Kasparov had to be a personal highlight of 2012.

With current productions being released on Obsession Records and Vindicta Recordings (France) the fan base is always expanding and support ranging from The DJ Producer, StrychNine (D.O.A) aswell support from Q-dance Radio's Ben Harder Show.

Keep an eye out on future releases in 2013 on Obsession Records and the first solo EP due out on Vindicta Records (FR)

OBSESSION BIOGRAPHY

Obsession took to the decks in 1990 after attending legendary Scottish rave events such STREETrave & Freedom. While at these events he realised that wanted to make it as a DJ/promoter and within a year had started running his own nights and had become hardcore resident in the famous FUBAR Club in Stirling. He was noticed by many other promoters and regularly featured on the line up for nights such as Rezerection, Fantazia, Judgement Day in Newcastle, N-Joy Project in Plymouth & Nosebleed to name only a few. 

Over the past 20 years Obsession has become an integral part of the Scottish club scene as part of the Back To The Future team. As well as helping put together the BTTF, Fantazia & Coloursfest events, Obsession also co-promotes his own nights such as Sector and Amnezia, which cater for the harder side of hardcore and rave music. He was the man responsible for bringing Masters of Hardcore & Q-Dance to Scotland for the first time and continues to break boundaries with line-ups & events. 

More recently he’s re-started his own ‘Obsession Records’ label and has released tracks by artists that are causing a stir on the hardcore scene (a record on the label was no.1 in the end of year Hard Tunes chart in 2010). There are big plans for Obsession Records in the future so if you’re a fan of hardcore then this is one label to keep your eye on. In July 2011, Obsession was the first Scottish DJ to have a 30-minute hardcore mix on Kutski’s show on world famous BBC Radio 1. Obsession is one DJ that has kept the hardcore scene alive & kicking in Scotland. He’s one of the leading authorities in hardcore, so listen to what he has to say! The future is still shining for DJ Obsession!

A modest young man that is exceptional passionate in all aspects of music. Regularly playing at all of Scotland's main clubs you can't avoid his presence and charisma that shines through on stage.



Hardcore.
Starting off his passion in one of the hardest genres of Dance Music, he played many times for the prestigious Q-Dance Radio through Thunderdome & The Ben Harder Show as well as Hardshock Festival & Plug:In Festival 2013. With many releases on different labels he caught the attention of artists such as The DJ Producer, with his unique style of Industrial Hardcore it was apparent this young producer was made to stand out from the crowd.


What's In Store.
With new ventures on the horizon and an ever evolving music scene, a new side will be appearing with a new forth coming EP which will show the future of this young DJ.
