In 1996 begonnen met draaien bij een lokale radio-omroep in Raamsdonksveer. Daar in contact gekomen met DJ Mo-Franco (http://partyflock.nl/artist/1789:Mo_Franco.html) en MVT (http://partyflock.nl/artist/24959:MvT.html) die een hardcoreprogramma presenteerden in de avond. Sinds die tijd geïnteresseerd geraakt in het DJ-en en al vlug volgden de eerste vinylaankopen en aanschaf van mixer en draaitafels.

Al heel snel (1997) kwam het eerste optreden in een DJ-contest in jongerencentrum "De Toonzaal" te Oosterhout waar hij 3e werd, en kort daarna een 2e plaats op de ID&T DJ-contest op de Megafestatie in de Jaarbeurs te Utrecht. In 2000 kwam zijn 1e grote gig, namelijk op het feest "Bone Attack 2" in de Subway (voorheen Kadance) te Tilburg. Na zijn eerste optreden in de kleine zaal werd hij vaste act in de grote zaal op die locatie op feesten zoals "Strictly Hardcore" en "Radiation" en deelde hij o.a. het podium met namen als Paul Elstak, Rotterdam Terror Corps, Neophyte en Promo.

Nadat de Subway dicht ging en werd gesloopt in 2002 heeft hij nog op diverse kleine locaties en feesten gedraaid. Na een break van een jaar, pikte hij de draad op en deed mee aan de "Megarave DJ-contest" in 2003. Uit de vele inzendingen werd hij uitgekozen als 1 van de 10 (waaronder Re-Style) DJ's die mocht draaien op het feest "Megarave 1993-2003".

Sinds 2004 draait hij naast als DJ in de hardere stijlen als Apres-ski en House-DJ in Café Bar 't Paviljoen te Breda. Sinds zijn komst worden er een paar avonden in het jaar hardcore en hardstyle-feesten georganiseerd onder de naam "Pay-Back". Diverse bekende DJ's hebben hun opwachting daar gedaan, zoals Human Resource, Yves en Dutchman Jack.

In de jaren daarna heeft hij meegedaan aan diverse DJ-contests door het land, met een aantal overwinningen als gevolg. Dit door zijn technische mixingskills en pure adrenaline on stage. Je mag dus spreken van "a DJ who knows how to make an impact". Zo wint hij o.a. op 6 november 2009 de "Hard Rhythm DJ-contest" in "De Splinter" te Venlo.

Sindsdien draait hij vervolgens op diverse grote en kleinere feesten waaronder "Hardcore Loves Porn", "DJ Yves 40th b-day", "Neverland" en "T-Town Madness". Sinds 2011 is hij resident-dj van het Belgische concept "Imperial Hardcore", georganiseerd door A-Town Events onder leiding van DJ Omira (http://partyflock.nl/artist/51347:Omira.html).

Naast DJ-en is hij momenteel hard aan het werk in zijn studio als producer op het gebied van mainstream hardcore. Wanneer zijn eerste solo-project uitkomt…"only time will tell, so stay tuned".

Human Resource was founded in 1990 by Guido Pernet, Jasper Drexhage, Robert Mahu and Johan van Beek. Their first record “Dominator” became an European hit almost overnight. Due to this huge success, and the success of their second album “The Kicking Noise of Rotterdam”, the group spends years on the road touring the globe. By the end of the 90’s, after many changes of the line up, the band ceased to exist and co-founder Guido Pernet was the only one left.

In 2004 he decided to restart the group with oldschool house legends Maurice Steenbergen and Zeno Zevenbergen. Maurice had some hits on his own. He’s the one responsible for the legendary gold awarded hit single: “Poing” and as the producer of “Armageddon - You’ll never be mine” and “Evil Maniax - Creators of Hardcore” to name only a few. He remixed records for Paul Elstak and Lenny Dee amongst others. Performing with RTS and as a DJ he plays all around the world. Zeno, better known as the voice for legendary “T99”, MC for the “Ruffneck Alliance” and “Dye Witness”, became the MC. In this formation the group did a few gigs in Holland and the UK. Early 2005 Zeno left the group and by that time Guido and Maurice are “the one and only” crew members of Human Resource.

At the end of 2008 Guido Pernet teamed up again with Jasper Drexhage, on off the original members, to start to performe again on classic and old skool party's.
