John Wesley Carroll Jr, better known around the electronic and trance scene as DJ Jowell is an upcoming music artist looking to burst out of the underground. Born on January 01, 1975 John Wesley Carroll Jr was the very first baby born in Emporia Virginia that same year. Not the type of person to let his uniqueness just dissipate after birth, DJ Jowell has for almost all his life pushed the boundaries of whatever he has put his mind to. 

Being married for 7 years, which, unfortunately, ended in divorce, he has since then moved past these unfortunate circumstances and has been on a one man mission to spread good will and love with his musical talents. His short lived marriage has, however, provided him with two wonderful and beautiful children, Heather and Camila, and these two girls are his constant inspiration and guidance that he looks towards whenever he is having a hard time with life and the troubles that being a musician entails.

John Wesley Carroll Jr has always had a burning passion for music. Whether his time was spent listening intently to his favorite 80s bands or passionately deep in thought about how he would make his musical hits sound and how they would affect the world. Music was always his escape and his guide whenever he was having a hard time with life or whenever he was lost in desolation. It is because of these reasons and also his love for the classic hits of the 80s why he is now trying to share his own music, and he is trying to be a part of the music artist lifestyle.
