RAMONES - JUDY IS A PUNK COVER

DIMINISHED BLISS & BATTLE ('DB&B') -- The original composition was written and performed in a few takes along the American Mid Atlantic in August 2011. Inspired by strong, smart working, and great family and friends throughout the globe.

My goal from the outset was deliberate and multi part. Metaphorically, to quickly and dramatically bring classical music fans into the current day & dance hall. To reach and contrast musical depths to tight rope highs, and to bring them together into a harmonious dance. Once near, the two partners entered a new realm of relationship. From there, they clawed their way back through pounding intensity, and eventually one or both onto a patriotic victory and a fading snare drum.

Diminished Bliss & Battle pays tribute to a span of carefully evolving, but true to modern form classical music. From Bach, Mozart, Beethoven and too many others to list to today's applied artists.

Historically, Diminished Bliss & Battle marks about the fifth released composition in a growing catalogue. My gratitude and admiration goes out to William Guaire, cinematographer expert extraordinaire (though Bill won't boast), for accepting and completing a mission to mold the track and raw visuals into a hypnotic gem. Mission accomplished Bill!
