Quadrant used to have a very outdated bio, so he wrote this one. Since the last update, this Seattle native has risen to the top of the stateside DnB scene, alongside his partner (in production, DJing, and life), Iris. Together they have toured (some parts of) the world, released tens of mixes, completed a debut LP with their good friend Kid Hops entitled “206”, and released EPs and collabs with some of their favorite people in the entire world (names your friends have probably heard of, like Klute, Total Science, DLR, Ulterior Motive, and Ant TC1). If your friends still aren’t convinced, make sure to mention their signature blend of deep but techy rolling vibes– only the good stuff, the stuff that makes you remember how good Drum and Bass can be. If that doesn’t work, tell them that 2008 will be Quadrant’s best year yet.

I'm a bass addict and I love drums and rhythm, so drum and bass is a natural fit for me. I grew up listening to rap, rock, reggae and Hawaiian music. I expanded my tastes to electronic music over time. In the early 90's I fell in love with house, and found trance and progressive to be the styles I liked the most. I spent many nights dancing to great DJs in Tokyo during trance's golden years, the late 90's and early 00's. I've gone through phases of techno, breaks, big beat, psy-trance, jungle, trip-hop, deep house, and chillout. These days I like everything in DnB, from the polished, melodic sound of liquid, to the headbanging and raw distortion in neuro/hardstep.

We live in a time where conformity is praised over originality. I refuse to follow paths that aren't in sync with my heart and soul.  It's all I've ever known. 
This is one of my corners in the world. I love making music and meeting the people along the way on this journey to who knows where...that's the best part. The ability to be part of someone's music life story.
