Inspired by Evanescence, Breaking Benjamin and early Heart, Fallon’s Religion evokes a soundscape of Billy Gibbons meets Ben Burnley guitar tones with emotionally charged vocals that undeniably deliver a heavy modern rock sound. 

 Formed around the songwriting nucleus of singer Melanie Fallon and guitarist Dan Bell, two artists faithful to their early southern rock and gospel influences, Fallon’s Religion create songs that are both unique and universal. Layered with heavy riffs, acoustic guitars, and creeping melodies, this band intentionally walks the line between the darkness and the light. It is that tension, that ever-present tug o’war inside each of us that is the very essence of the Fallon's Religion sound. 

 Author Scott Peck once wrote that, “Everyone has some understanding…some worldview…this understanding is our religion.” This statement resonates deeply within the band. Their worldview, their religion, is the music they create.

 Firmly rooted in hard-edged rock, the likes of Black Crowes and early Heart creep into stunningly emotional vocals in songs like “Raven’s Lair.” While heavy moody guitars anchor songs “So Serene” and “Mercy Will” with saturating distortion. “My Saint,” starts with a haunting intro of gothic vocals demanding your attention until the bridge transports you to a dreamlike state of angelic voices. Fallon's Religion effortlessly weaves through these multiple genres with style and deliberate ease. 


 Currently recording at Cambridge Sound Studios in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the first single “Mercy Will” will soon be released from their self-titled debut EP. Engineered by Todd Mecaughey, mixed by Jim Salamone (Producer/Engineer) and Larry Chaney (Edwin McCain), mastered by Billy Stuhl, Masterpiece Mastering, and produced by Melanie Fallon and Dan Bell, “Mercy Will” features special guest John Moyer (Disturbed) on bass. Elijah Lee Reeder will produce the “Mercy Will” music video to accompany the EP scheduled for a June 2015 release.

'The Hell We Create' out now via Solid State Records

Another Distraction was formed in 2009 with the intention of being a cover band, but soon began combining all their influences to create originals that blended post-punk, alternative/grunge and hard rock. Four of the band's founding members and longtime friends - drummer Antonio Staropoli, guitarist Chris Fiduccia, guitarist Giuseppe DiSalvo and bassist John Frega, hail from the great state of New Jersey while the new comer and singer Chris Drako traveled all the way from Pennsylvania to join the band.

After the original vocalist Mario Enrique Vargas Jr. departed for personal reasons, the band struggled to find someone to fill his shoes. However, once Chris Drako was discovered and joined the band in late 2012, the momentum carried the band to new heights. With new material being written, local and out of state shows being booked, on air radio interviews and live radio sessions, Another Distraction began to establish a local presence for themselves. Their greatest achievement to date is the successful crowd funding campaign that allowed them to record and self-release their debut EP titled "Nothing Left to Say" which was recorded at Nada Recording by John Naclerio. The album is available now on iTunes, Spotify, Google Play and Amazon.
