traverse is proud to present its second release of 2024, the new EP ‘What Tomorrow Hides’ by French artist RAVL. Staying true to its desire to be a space for music exploration and discovery, the label and music platform focuses on releases which allow artists to explore their own versatility, while letting the listener be inspired and surprised by a wide range of influences.

Bridging the gap between nervous, metallic jungle and haunting dancehall, ‘Hybris’ intertwines wooden percussions with lost robotic voices, akin to a tree-like nature reclaiming its rights over the ruins of a collapsed electronic civilization, where only a few rusty artifacts struggle to survive amidst an inextricable vegetal maze.
In a world where everything is slowed down, ‘Nah!’ creates the meeting point between dubstep, dancehall and bubbling. Before you know it, the speed has picked up and you can’t help but follow the frenetic dance.
You will reach the final destination with ‘What Tomorrow Hides’ - a blend of melancholic melodies and sharp rolling bass alongside subtle dub influences.
La Dame jumps in for a class remix, transforming ‘Hybris’ into an ode to jungle while keeping the feelings and intention of the original track.
