Celebrating our tenth release on the imprint, Austrian-based producer Gnischrew comes through with some luscious dub-soaked 140. The @subaudiorecords record label owner is known for sculpting highly detailed soundscapes and pairing these shifting auditory images with the deep grooves of Dubstep and European Dub rhythm sections.

Unlike our previous releases, SASDUB10 will be housed in a thick card sleeve, stamped with a design by Welsh-based Ink artist Joe Bevan (InkVoid) inspired by the surrealist mind of Salvador Dalí.

A - Shackles
Having been a dub for a hot minute by this point, Shackles will catch the eye of anyone familiar with Gnischrew's recent Frozen Plates mix. This is a masterfully crafted arrangement of soft and mournful pads, a powerful bassline and a huge reverberant space. The sum of these parts provoke a deeply profound and meditative mood.

B - Ruminate 
Whilst maintaining the 140 speed and style in a consistent manner, Gnischrew moves to a heavily dub/reggae-inspired skank on the flipside of his release. Of course including the obligatory thicc bassline, the producer provides a vortex of complex space arrangements and intensely rhythmic backbeats to complement the summery atmosphere which immediately manifests with a single spin of this composition.

All records will be hand-cut by the dubplate-cutting master Henry Bainbridge at @Dubstudio onto 10" transparent plates.

Hailing from Paris, Armand AKA Ourman has been experimenting with music from a young age. During his teen years he mostly messed around with his guitar playing all genres from reggae to metal. It was only until 2010 Armand discovered Dubstep when stumbling across Capsa & Rusko, which showed him how vast the the underground sound was and instantly picked up a copy of Reason to learn the basics. Unfortunately Armand had to take a step back from his productions, whilst he finished this degree. Last year, Armand decided to quit his job and dedicate this time and efforts towards music!

After the initial release of ENV012 Kloudmen started sending music that was a level beyond what we had previously heard from the duo. Remixes of and Plays by major scene players such as Caspa and Hatcha as well as the fresh blood in the forms of Bukez, Samba, Sepia etc.

Then out of nowhere in a fashion that caught our ears Kloudmen x Rez. We had to know more! The result was this release.

Featuring undoubtedly Contents most battered tune for well over a year Problem, Then having asked the pair for a B side we get handed not another collab, we get the prize work of Paracusia from Kloudmen and Politics from Rez. This release is monolithic, it rewrites the title for monolithic.

100% self distro'd. This will not be seeing general release. Once its gone its gone in its physical form and why because we want to ensure that the Duo of Kloudmen and the pairing of Rez receive their royal dues for creating this absolute gem!

EA Review: Chad Dubz & Quasar - Fantomatique / Vox Dub [FAVX005]

“Vox Dub”. Drawing upon a similar energy as “Fantomatique”, the EP concludes with a low-end slugger encapsulated in skillfully distorted ambience. From its inception, “Vox Dub” takes a less aggressive approach to an equally appetizing style of 140 bpm. Chad Dubz & Quasar’s technicality shines through the murky depths of this post-apocalyptic tune. Showing off their vocoder-style sound design, the song’s title reveals its origin more and more with each progression. The contrast created between atonal and melodic elements of “Vox Dub” reveals a musical tenacity that assuredly comes from a great deal of experience. This is illustrated via haunting drones and foreboding pads which are complimented by drawn out reverb and tasteful delays. Purposeful and intricate drum patterns result in a subtle yet powerful flow that guides this hypnotic tune to the very end. The evolution of this track is nothing short of mesmerizing as listeners are taken deeper and deeper down the rabbit hole.
