"In 2019, I envisioned a new direction for Jazz - A scene where jazz breathes fresh life through the vibrant bridge of hip hop. This fusion became known as PLAYAWAVE, drawing inspiration from nostalgic vaporwave, smooth jazz, and west coast & southern hip hop.
For me to realize this vision, I had to gather the most talented people I knew and together we formed the Jazz Playaz Quartet to release the album: International Jazz Playaz. After the debut album, it was clear there was a doorway opened to an endless world of possibilities, a universe without limits.
Thus the band's name being finalized and now known as Jazz Playaz
