The name Souliance really speaks to what this band is all about... a "Soul"..."Alliance". This talented group of ladies (and 1 guy) bring together an eclectic mix of different genres. One minute you're grooving and bopping your head to a funky track then suddenly you're swept away by the haunting lyrics and soulful acoustic guitar sounds of lead singer, Sarah Vee. Although they cover a wide range of styles, they have been tagged as "Rock/Soul with a Funk edge".

All members of Souliance came from different backgrounds and grew up in different cities across the country (from Sacramento, CA to Alexandria, VA.) They found one another through a previous band project called "Soul Spectra", which was put together by a great R&B/Soul singer named Gianni Mays. Unfortunately, Soul Spectra came to an end when the lead singer decided to move to Texas to pursue other dreams. Although she had left, the remaining band members decided they would continue with the project and rename the band so they could share their passion for music with the world!
