The street was illuminated by the pearly glow of orange beams from pillars which looked like metallic aliens had landed precisely spaced upon the earth. Are friends electric? Were the flickering objects his moonlight companions amidst a dream which had left him feeling lost and far away. Walking slowly he began to moved between the glowing frames, he danced. 

Djedjotronic is set to release an album on Boys Noize Records and we are delighted to premiere a track from the forthcoming project featuring the lovely Lokier.

The Bleak Engineers from St. Petersburg (Svetlana Zombierella and Alexander Moralez), lead the way with their irresistible groove and melancholic synth melodies on „Scientific Science“. Next up with a heavy hitter called „PTP“ is Synkronized, the specialist in dark electronic sounds out of Russia. Coming in third on the A Side is a fascinating sinister baseline with a hypnotic build-up titled „Electronic Humming“, produced by Pablo Dissko (born in Greece, living in Amsterdam).
 
The B-side keeps it rolling with Greek artist KSTS’ wicked Electro on his vocoder-driven tune: „Three Hundred Dark Times“. Closing out the collection is Alavux (born in Serbia, living in Macedonia), another true Electro master delivering a banger called „Bender“, that leaves absolutely no questions.

After a musical break of ten years, Franck Sarrio celebrates his great return on RADIO MARS with four original tracks half way between Electro and Techno genres. For his new EP on French label, hopefully the second of a long series, the Clermont-Ferrand based artist delivers a funky and cosmic trip of his typical trademark. Alternating between cerebral and epic dance floor cuts of pure anthology, “Army Of Robots" deploys an impressive musical weaponry whose crystal clear and robotic sound will not leave you indifferent.
Having made his first Dark-wave and industrial steps on mythic Bunker imprint in 2003, then inaugurated with “Secret Industry” the first outing of his own FSS label in 2005, Franck returns today to an powerful electro tinted with Detroit influences (Dopplereffekt, Aux 88, Cybotron). The author of essential "Robotic Invasion EP" on RADIO MARS in 2008 also appeared on various compilations including “SOM compilation” and “SOM compilation 5” from the mighty Solar One Music run by Nico Jagiella along with Robert Witschakowski aka The Exaltics.

Serotonin Records’ epic odyssey to bring endless funk to the world has again found a deep vain of grooves to mine. 
 
Having all the features of a Serotonin classic, SER024 Neurotic Drum Band - The Last Parabola / Ulysses - Palefinger is a 3-track split EP with loops/locked-grooves on the vinyl. 
 
Neurotic Drum Band’s Last Parabola arcs upwards from an earthly base of machine funk and launches through the atmospheric layers to stellar reaches of the cosmic void (well, as far into the cosmic void that was reachable from the comfort and safety of their music studio/living room couch, at any rate). 
 
Ulysses provides two perspicacious* takes on the Serotonin vibe.  Shiny Destruction drives and drifts, balancing melancholy and random angular twists. The airtight yet sultry groove of Palefinger slides along swiftly with caustic undertones. *having a ready insight into and understanding of things. 
 
 
As the Neurotic Drum Band, veteran producers Elliot Taub aka Ulysses and John Selway combine their formidable talents to keep dance music fun, mixing elements of classic House, Disco, Techno, Electro and random audio weirdness into a genre-defying mish-mash that excites the ears and tickles the fancy. 

When it comes to new music from Ulysses, you never know what you're going to get. His productions span across genres. His love of obscure Disco and Techno led to experiments in the studio, toying with disparate sounds such as noise, pop, rock-n-roll, ambient, reggae, blues, funk, electro, new wave and hard techno, with every release delivering an exciting musical surprise. An essential pioneer of the late-‘90s electro scene in New York, Ulysses threw some of the biggest large-scale electro parties with legends such as Alexander Robotnick and Arthur Baker, as well as stars like I-f, Adult, and Miss Kittin and the Hacker. Kretz Profile : 
Kretz, born in Stockholm and raised on the island of limestone (Gotland) has a long history in the music industry. Started off making music on the C64, Atari and Amiga for various hacker / cracker / demoscene groups, the spark of electronic music was born. I have been involved with a lot of record labels / companies around the world (Svek, Loop records, Skint Records, Good looking, Mo’wax, React, Paper Recordings, Why Not, Reco-Nice, Plump House, Sub-Stance to name a few) in business or production. Production wise I have done everything from deep underground techno, acid jazz, trip-hop to ex hippies playing the sitar. Schooled on the analog scene with classic analog waveform creation to reel to reel recording. 
I have a past as a record company A&R and as a label manager. With a heart for the electronic music i now release under 3 different names: Anode, Rex 42 and finally Kretz.

For this new Premiere, we have a track by the Romanian producer Datacrashrobot from the EP "Bytestream" [LSRGM079] on the Finnish label, based in Turku, founded in 2012 by Kirill Junolainen : Lasergum Records.

Datacrashrobot : Electro project from Romania assembled in 2008, generates a particularly abundant sonic trip that takes it's listener to a wild ride into a multi-tonal world made of very detailed, carefully crafted ensembles. Cold metalic atmospheres, futuristic sounding glitches and vocal snippets, Datacrashrobot manages to juggle with a wide array of sounds, luring his listener with an accessible retro-feeling or at times building menacing arrangements of complex beats.

The track we have chosen to premiere is entitled ‘Phased Array’ and will be available on August 19, 2019 in Digital exclusively on Bandcamp : https://lasergumrecords.bandcamp.com/album/bytestream-ep

After PINK and RED comes ORANGE. It’s the third out of seven records for the celebrations of the 50th Uncanny Valley release. And it’s tailor-made for pure dance floor delight.

Sweden’s Jor-El aka Joel Alter spells out house music on HUMAN MATRIX with great effect. You can't resist being dragged along by a track that is well composed down to the last tiny little detail, but always comes across light and easy. Synth stabs for the masses. Uncanny Valley-Newcomer Karima F from Oslo delivers FLACCID HOUSE, a track that feels like the perfect way to make ravers resurrect. The track is based on few, but effectively used ingredients like a hammering broken beat and those odd vocal bits. Thus, it gets to the point without detours.

Being a scene-legend himself, Toronto's Basic Soul Unit contributes GROTTO BOUNCE, a raw but precise nod to classic Detroit and Acid tunes. Finally, former Hamburger and now Berliner Christopher Rau is in full play mode and turns on all the equipment in the studio for PARADIJS, a wonky house track that gives you goose bumps even though he may be throwing you out of step.
