For this new Premiere, we have a track by the Zagreb-based music producer & DJ Ivna Ji from the upcoming EP "ZwaarteKracht 3" [ZK003] on the Belgian Electro Label : ZwaarteKracht.

ZwaarteKracht was founded towards the end of 2018 and are based in Belgium, their previous two releases have been hosting exquisite sounds from a broad range of artists such as Innershades, Cleromancer, Datawave, Francois Dillinger, Deemphasis, DerDieDas and label boss Arsonist Recorder.

The track we chose to premiere is the Z1 and entitled ‘Diatom’. It will be available from February 15, 2020 on Limited Edition Vinyl + Digital at most online retailers.

ZwaarteKracht are very proud to present the 3rd edition in the series, inviting some very unique and forward thinking artists.

The very prolific Zagreb-based producer Ivna Ji kicks off side “Z” mercilessly grooving a bassline down your spine like an itchy virus. Followed up close by Errorbeauty, who has been pushing boundaries through her own label Arkada Records (which she runs along with XOR12). Her track here displays some geniously organic machinerythms into an eerie dystopian escape.
On side “K”, Arsonist Recorder hosts this record with an invasion of microbug machinery in a heavily rocking track that continues to sonically outline the reactive views of this label, only to prepare the listener for UK-based producer and dj Kim Cosmik’s industrialised funk-anthem which concludes this release, masterfully drilling the beat into the floor with a rumbling subbass-message to society.

In 2020 Dalmata Daniel continues the electro space travel, this time with Krypton81.

The Danish scientist duo intended to create 'Tranquility Base' in outer space with this EP. The Inspiration came from Technology, Occultism. The result is a dark and melodic sound, which pervades all of the their tracks. Last but not least LAU from Budapest also joined this scientific adventure with her energetic breakbeat remix track and their space ship disappeares with the speed of light.

DDD05 comes with a Studio Jetski designed and BPZines printed riso poster limited to 12 copies, which is the physical part of this EP and comes with a download link of the release.

A new project by "X-Truder“ and "Nexus 23“.

X23 are: Synthetic minds fused in time and space by robotic and chaotic forces permeating through dream and reality. A cybernetic dawn amongst the urban rubble and rust. Be prepared to receive a high dose of energy coming out of the speakers. Noisy, distorted and electromechanical wall crushing beats.

“X-Truder“ with real name Leszek Romaniak is born and raised up in Poland. Now he’s living in the UK since 2006. He’s always been into music, as long as its good music. As a teenager he liked Rap, Graffiti and Breakdance but the electronic music became his passion. Once he listened to a Love Parade Compilation in 1999 he found out what Techno and Chris Liberator Acid Techno is and all the Hip Hop stuff was gone. In that very moment he said to himself: "I want to do this too!“

"Nexus 23“ is the brainchild of London based producer Joe Black. With a history of playing bass guitar in bands, Joe spent the late 90’s DJing drum and bass in local Oxford house parties. Eventually Joe made the switch into electronic music, which is a childhood passion of his. Joe brings his bass heavy, industrial influenced electro back to Battery Park Studio for his second release after the LP “Synth Knobs and Boomsticks”. Guaranteed to rattle your rib cage and set the dance floor alight.

Presenting Queens of Club: a two-part VA celebrating the established and up-and-coming women and non-binary producers of Ghetto House, Electro, Footwork & Breakbeat.

Night Shift, shown here, is ten tracks of dark and pacey goodness with plenty of breakbeats and acid to satisfy your club cravings. However “generic” is not in the vocabulary of these producers as recurring themes of dance music are juxtaposed on every track with Ghetto House vocals, moody synths or thematic switch ups that will keep you on your toes, even if you're sitting down.

The title pays homage to the seminal "Queens of Baltimore Club", a highly sought-after LP from various legendary female Bmore artists (like Kotton the Cutie and Mz. Thang) compiled by DJ Technics in 2001. Almost two decades later and the club scene is still a hostile environment for marginalised groups and this compilation aims to address that. Queens of Club is by women/non-binary people, right down to the mastering engineer and the artwork designers, and intended for everyone who likes to shake their ass at high speed!

The legendary DJ Godfather delivers his very first solo artist album, 'Electro Beats For Freaks'. DJ Godfather (Brian Jeffries) is one of the founding fathers of the Detroit Ghettotech scene. He started DJing at the age of 15 and within a few months was already playing in clubs and after-hour parties across the Motor City. By 17 he’d started making music and a year later, released his first solo record on Twilight 76 (the label he started with DJ Dick and Brian Gillespie). The creation of other labels followed including the influential Databass, which he revived in 2018. With a career spanning near on 3 decades, he's continued to deliver the goods as well as supporting new Detroit talent, as his Godfather moniker implies. As a DJ, his battle style turntablism has made him a hero in his city (you only have to witness the crowds he pulls at Detroit's Movement Festival) and the many places around the globe where he’s laid down his fine-tuned skills. Over the years it's gained him worldwide recognition and various DJing accolades. Even through 2020's Coronavirus lockdown he’s wowed audiences with his expert live streams. 

Despite the many tracks, EPs and mix compilations he's released over the years, 'Electro Beats For Freaks' is DJ Godfather's first proper artist album, and his biggest undertaking to date. With nearly 2 hours of music, it's a collection of 44 tracks that range from Ghettotech to Juke and Electro; Techhouse to Bmore. The tracks (only a handful of which have been previously released) transition into one another with a seamless flow, so they can either be heard individually or as a continuous playback.

The album will be followed through 2021 with a series of EP releases featuring longer length versions, a cappellas, instrumentals and BPM variations.

Premiere: DJ Godfather "Show Some Respect" - Databass

DJ Godfather (Brian Jeffries) is one of the founding fathers of the Detroit Ghettotech scene. He started DJing at the age of 15 and within a few months was already playing in clubs and after-hour parties across the Motor City. By 17 he’d started making music and a year later, released his first solo record on Twilight 76 (the label he started with 
DJ Dick and Brian Gillespie). The creation of other labels followed including the influential Databass, which he revived in 2018. With a career spanning near on 3 decades, he’s continued to deliver the goods as well as supporting new Detroit talent, as his Godfather moniker implies. As a DJ, his battle style turntablism has made him a hero in his city (you only have to witness the crowds he pulls at Detroit’s Movement Festival) and the many places around the globe where he’s laid down his fine-tuned skills. Over the years it’s gained him worldwide recognition and various DJing accolades. Even through 2020’s Coronavirus lockdown he’s wowed audiences with his expert live streams.


Despite the many tracks, EPs and mix compilations he’s released over the years, ‘Electro Beats For Freaks’ is DJ Godfather’s second proper artist album, and his biggest undertaking to date. With nearly 2 hours of music, it’s a collection of 44 tracks that range from Ghettotech to Juke and Electro, Techhouse to Bmore. The tracks (only a handful of which have been previously released) transition into one another with a seamless flow, so they can either be heard individually or as a continuous playback.

3 years ago MCR-T kickstarted Live From Earth Klub with his and the label’s first ever techno release  “KRAFT” LFEK001. Almost 3 years later we are proud to announce MCR-T’s second vinyl release and Live From Earth Klub‘s 11th installment “4 THA CULUTURE”.

Since the earliest days of raves, techno and rap did not only coexist but were fundamentally intertwined. The contemporary techno / electronic music image has long ridden itself of its hip hop MCing component rendering the combination of both as being virtually extinct. All-terrain vehicle MCR-T aims to restore the long forgotten craft of MCing over techno / gabber / electro beats not only on the dancefloor but also for your recreational pleasure. Combining forces with Australia’s own legendary Partiboi69 has only made this EP an even spicier force to be reckoned with.

The sonic character of this body of music spans from 90’s piano stab infused big room techno anthems to contemporary ghetto tech, electro, and gabber interpretations combining the soul power of voice with the menacing power of bass.

“4 THA CULTURE” EP pays homage to all the OGs of electronic music, to all the ravers on and off the dancefloor, to all the promoters, the labels and clubs, the tastemakers, the recordshops.

This ain’t just for y’all.
