Coming in strong after celebrating its first year of existence, the Bella Ursa mothership resumes its journey through the many cosmic layers of its Nebula Aranea series. This series is dedicated to bringing together like-minded artists with a genuine fondness for probing the uncharted worlds between genre boundaries.
Curated with great care by label-head Letherique, this second opus digs deeper into the darker path previously set. Blissfully blending our notorious cinematic touch with a wide array of styles, Nebula Aranea #2 ranges from thundering Electro Body Music to languorous Darkwave and otherworldly experimentations.

Growing the Ursa family further, we’re proud to yet again welcome artists from very distinctive horizons: 

Arabian Panther and Frust (aka Blind Delon) from the boiling and ever-surprising Toulouse scene. 

The tenebrous dark madonna Lady Maru and Raw Culture’s maestro Asymmetrical from Roma. 

Geotropism (aka Cyclic Backwash), Akkadien (aka TeTTSUO and C.Ysme), and Orosirian (aka C.Ysme), three highly-regarded activists from the French free party movement.

The mad scientist Cellarkalt (aka Snuffo) and John Carpenter’s secret son Balaban from Germany.

Bella Ursa MVP and Dutch electro sensation Lloyd Stellar, along with Latvia’s devilish monk Cying Skies.

And, of course, the line-up wouldn’t be complete without a few novel picks from Bella Ursa’s hometown, Strasbourg: Alpha Sect, Krauss, and Lethako, a new side project by Letherique and Itako.

It’ll be released digitally and on a beautiful laser-etched C-90 cassette tape.

Energy No.13 - Vertigo [East Coast Underground - ECU-102]

Starting and running your own record label puts the keys to releasing others' music and yours! South Florida-based producer Mike Griffin began making electronic music under the name Energy No.13, later changing his name to InerVation to encompass a wider range of genres. He is now the co-owner of EC Underground, a record company with many disciplines in the business, including retail stores and a distribution hub for multiple labels from overseas.

With his new EP Vertigo, Energy No.13 combines the influence of many sources as it’s mark. The opening track on the Vertigo eponymous EP is an impeccable masterpiece of true electronica with synthetic qualities of melody and rhythmic interplay. A genre described as a sound straight out of Plaid “not to over” the connoisseurs!
The 2nd track “Fun da mental” is an “in your face” cybernetic aesthetic that parallels an old school B-Boy style. This track concludes with a thunderous dance groove hypnotizing the listener to pure electro bass.
There is never a dull moment with the cascading beats of the 3rd track “Happy Feat”. Enigmatic vibes transcend for sure yet mysterious enough to stay true to bass heads.
The closing track “Zeebra” evokes energy while simultaneously intriguing you with its spacious experimental style.
