To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Franco-Canadian label Chez.Kito.Kat Records, we are releasing a compilation bringing together 22 original tracks by 22 artists from Canada, France, Germany, Belgium, Chile, Vietnam and Luxembourg.
These 22 tracks reflect all the diversity that the label tries to reflect within the electronic music scene, ranging from techno, ambient, breakbeat, house or even IDM / Braindance.
The compilation will be distributed by UNDERSCOPE and available in digital version on our networks (Soundcloud, Bandcamp, spotify, itunes music ...) from December 15, 2021

Chez.Kito.Kat Records, founded in 2006, is a French Canadian label specializing in exploratory electronic music (Techno, Ambiant, Downtempo, Braindance ...) with almost a hundred musical releases (Vynile, K7, digital) and a twenty international artists, often multidisciplinary (graphic, visual, digital or immersive art).
Its artists evolve on the independent European and Quebec scene and chronicled by the big names of the musical press such as The Wire Magazine, Les Inrockuptibles, MagicRPM, Trax, Nova ...
The renowned English label, Lobster Theremin, has distributed our techno reference vinyls.
Since September 2020, our label has been distributed by Underscope.
The members of the label are also known for their activism and their commitment to creative freedom, diversity and nightlife. We are celebrating our 15th anniversary in 2021.

"Existance, Resistance" exactly represents the creed of people who are behind the label. A1 "Existance, Resistance" and A2 "Cyber Ninja" are two Drexciya indebted electro banger tunes, pure fire, ready for each kind of dancefloor. 
B1 Liquid Spirits, is a perfectly executed Acid Electro trip. B2 What's your Number?, is something special: a Dreamy, Retro-Futuristic electronic journey, with letfield Detroit vibes.

Coming next on Cultivated Electronics Ltd (CE’s limited vinyl offshoot) is a V/A EP entitled ‘Onderwereld’ which takes its name from a former atomic bunker based in The Hague (Netherlands) that housed music studios, offices and the Intergalactic FM station, Onderwereld Radio.  The building had to be vacated last year, but the amalgamation of some of those artists and their creative resources lives on.  Together, they encapsulate the new underground sound of The Hague.

Opening the A-side is a track by Crave Festival organiser, Cosmox who delivers tough staccato Electro-funk on ‘Electrostress’, before 543ff (a regular player on the Dutch Electro scene who’s released on ÆX and has a forthcoming album on Diffuse Reality) brings stripped-back beats and layers of melody on ‘Easy’.

Keeping the Onderwereld collaborative ethos alive, 543ff joins forces with Star-kid (Bunker Records) and Gamma Intel (Brokntoys / Pinkman) on the B-side, for ‘Three City Firm’.  Their original version is dark and bristling, while 543ff’s remix takes the track on a galactic ride.

Here comes the second release in our DDE series, this time it will be a 3-track EP and a fresh collaboration between two rising stars from the Budapest scene, https://soundcloud.com/CTKidobo & https://soundcloud.com/LAUmusikk with an additional remix by Hamburg-based electro producer L.F.T.

CT Kidobó is known from his debut Exterminador EP on https://soundcloud.com/dalmata-daniel, but he has been making music for years. His sound could be described as experimental and emotional deep electro with dark basslines and detuned patterns on the verge of music and art. His tracks are also heavily influenced by art films, and his music is developed to the extreme, so even the last patterns are right for the songs. His influences range from Mr. Oizo, early Gesaffelstein, the Hacker, Dopplereffekt etc., and since his debut EP, he released tracks on compilation by labels like Crisis, Earth Plates and Exiles.

The other half of this collaboration is LAU. In her musical journey, live act has been given great emphasis from the beginning and she was a former member of Wave Twins duo as well. However for a while she has been making music on her own, DJing, and organizing music workshops. Her first tracks came out on Dalmata Daniel's compilations, but her debut remix track premiered on DDD05 as well.

These two artists started working together in 2019, and although their approach is different with CT Kidobó’s attention to detail and LAU’s more intuitive approach, the process of making music was an easy ride, and it is amazing how their styles complement each other creating crazy soundwaves.

The songs could rather be described as hard hitting electro on the edge of bumping rave as the first track XTC, this one will fire up the dancefloor when we can go again to the clubs or warehouses. Mental Vortex is more serious, no joking, but a groovy ride into the dark side of Electro. Last but not least L.F.T. is connected to this with his classic punky new wave remix of Mental Vortex.

DDE02 comes out on very limited 10inch lathe cut record with numbered risograph print designed by Studio Jetski, and printed by BPZines

Born in Russia Sengiley Recordings - vinyl and digital label, releases the first cassette collection of the label where they gathered Russian producers who are famous far beyond the borders of their homeland. Citizen Pablo is one of them who besides being a DJ from the shores of Saint Petersburg, is the founder of the projects Комната and Roommates.

All profit goes towards the worthy mental-health project, Art Angel, who continue to change the lives of people in the Dundee area. The charity is run by people with mental health issues by those who have been through similar experiences, and offers a safe place for people to discover and rediscover themselves through many different art-forms.
