D-Leria returns to the scene more than a year after debuting on Berlin-based label Delirio, releasing a collection of work produced between 2014 and 2018; ten tracks which mark a new beginning for this young Italian producer, sweeping between heavy ambient excursions to hypnotic/ tribal techno, modernized and polished off in his own way.
‘Driving to Nowhere’ is the summation of an extended journey; a year-long hiatus due to unforeseen health concerns allowed time to meditate and consider his past experiences in Italy’s various underground electronic music scenes, and the potential directions inspired by thriving Berlin. 
From 2014 to 2017 he released several EP’s, each developing upon this new style, until joining the young label Delirio as both a musician and a manager. 
With Delirio he has hosted artists such as Stanislav Tolkackev, Roberto Bosco, Plaster, Retina.it and more, with a unique agenda to record precisely produced music live, instead of laboring in the studio to achieve over-polished audio.
His first album inaugurates the beginning of the new DLP catalog, which will be dedicated to LPs, albums and other projects released on 12-inch vinyl.
Through these 10 tracks D-Leria experiments with various production methods, as in ‘Makumba’ where he precisely combines the kick drum with a tight bass line in a 12-step sequence, making the track fluid and never predictable. ‘Reborn’ is an even more ambitious undertaking, initially recorded on tape before being sent back to the mixer via Hi Fi stereo, D-Leria modulated the cassette coil with a bic pen to create a unique ‘detune’ effect. ‘From the Ground’ and ‘Driving to Nowhere’, both made through the same setup, combine tribal voices and moans, combining an ethereal ambience with drums and analog percussion, connecting the rhythm directly to the soul.
The opening track ‘Libero’ is dedicated to himself, while ‘Her Smile’ and ‘Uragano’ are both dedicated to the person that was closest to him in his last period of stop and realization of the album, where he expresses his most deep moments in the first, and more difficult in the second.
Just like in most of the EP already released on Delirio, Giuseppe Tillieci aka Neel took care of the mastering of the tracks, while the artist has taken care of the smallest details from the production, to the mixing, to the graphics and also to the titles of the tracks, which refer to personal thoughts and events that happened during this long journey to nowhere.

The Berlin based DJ and producer with a trajectory of more than a decade, has established herself in the underground Berliner scene in the last years, Tresor Resident and curator of the very well known “New Faces” events.

The depth of her sets immerses us in a space trip dominated by hypnotic and heavy electronic environments in the same harmonic code, intelligible techno ruled by a musical selection capability only available for accurately and experienced ears. Her execution in the Dj booth is almost millimeter, enhancing the technical qualities of the set and the auditory introspection with the public.

Codec Recordings Presents Their Third Release - Redshift by Von Rausch

Von Rausch’s first EP on Codec Recordings titled “Redshift” is a minimal and experimental feat from the Switzerland based artist, and is accompanied by remixes from fellow label artists Assad Harri, Decoder, and Devil is a Bottom.

Opening the EP, Von Rausch brings us the title track, “Redshift”, filled with eerie plucks, subtle ambience, and the no-nonsense kick drum.

Assad Harri’s remix has a darker and more belligerent theme to it, with a rolling bassline and industrial kick drum.

Label boss Decoder introduces a more loopy and minimal take on the song, with sounds phasing in and out of tune.

Finishing strong, Devil is a Bottom presents a deep and nominal remix, with harsh melodies and an angry bassline.

Assad Harri Releases Debut Album on Codec Recordings [CDEC004]

Haris Avdic, better known as Assad Harri is a techno producer from Bosnia and
Herzegovina. His debut album on Codec Recordings titled “Igranka” is definitely not one to miss
out on. 9 dance floor ready tracks with subtleties and nuances add the flavor and dynamic that
makes these productions unique and enthralling.

The opener track, Tehno Vjera, starts the album with jumping basslines and arpeggios,
all while lush ambience sweeps throughout the background. Arsen is a rhythmic monster, with
drums pounding through the entirety of the track, as droning pads take the listener to another
level. Spanski then takes things up a notch with industrial, cold sounding drums, and robotic
synths that transport you to a rundown warehouse in the middle of nowhere.

Halfway through the album, comes the bass heavy track Dreamer, in which the
modulating polyrhythmic bassline accentuated by ambience and high tones truly makes the
track feel three-dimensional. Next, the mesmerizing tune She Felt My Wind slows things back
down with droning basslines and plucking synths showered throughout, creating for an enticing
breakdown in the album. Two thirds of the way in comes the title track Igranka, which is a no
nonsense hypnotic belter, with harsh drums and an icy sound palette.

Introducing the latter half of the album is Haris Grozni, a rolling, industrial beat with
distressed synthesizers crying for help for the 4 and a half minute journey through what would
feel like an abandoned, run down city. God Has Internet keeps the ball rolling by introducing
plucking polyrhythms and harsh pads that set the feeling of metal touching cold crisp air.
Concluding Haris’ debut album is 020P1O1, a raw track likely inspired by that of Planetary
Assault Systems, with harsh snare drum buildups, moody arpeggiated synth lines, and
explosive drops that leave the listener in a trance like state.

Overall, Igranka is an ode to the sweaty dancefloors, raw energy, and eccentric
environments that define underground club culture as we know it. An amalgamation of all the
things that have truly helped shaped techno into what it is today.

Artist Bio:

Haris Avdic, professionally known as Assad Harri, is a techno producer from Gračanica,
Bosnia. Assad, meaning “Lion” in Arabic and Harri being a nickname, his name translates to
Haris the Lion. His name can definitely be reflected in the music he makes, with roaring synths
and powerful bass lines being the basis of his work. Inspired by the likes of Temudo, Oscar
Mulero, Zadig, and Lars Huismann, his music is a force to be reckoned with. Haris has honed in
on his production skills and techniques for the past 7 years, and is one of the newest names to
be on the lookout for in the underground scene. Expect big things coming from Assad Harri.
