Hailing from Thessaloniki, Greece, Alpha Sect is a project of George McCall, which is focused on breaking electro patterns and pumping body music with serious punk influences. He started his music career as a guitarist in the post-metal band Sleepstream with 2 albums on their track record and he is an active musician with participations in physical theatre performances with his side-project. With already 4 EP releases on prominent labels such as OSM Tapes, Kein Rauch Ohne Feuer, Pildoras Tapes & Forkha, Alpha Sect strikes back with a vinyl release on SOIL RECORDS (27/11/21) and has also signed two more vinyls on two major Spanish labels that are to be released in early 2022. For the 31st edition we welcome E-bony aka @naor-dayan to our mix series, an up-and-coming DJ and producer from Tel Aviv’s underground, holding residencies at the infamous Alphabet Club and of the international well-known queer nights & label ‘PAG’, in addition to having releases on infamous labels such as Slow Motion, Wrong Era, Italo Moderni, Dalmata Daniel to name a few.

Naor, born and raised in one of Tel-Aviv’s somewhat challenging areas, got him fleeing to the city’s center at an early age, where he was exposed to Tel-Aviv’s electronic music scene, since this point E-bony has been developing unarguable taste and skill for music, in his productions and behind the decks you can hear a combination of Techno, Electro and Italo with a smooth movement between darkness, lights and groove.

Distinctly drawn towards dark atmospheres, Pastram developed a strong focus on raw rhythmics, assuming an intense form of communication where cathartic echoes and cold synths become intricate. An intense musical fusion of the past and the present transcending the line between body music, grinding post-punk, industrial, and wave.

RNDSTD / RANDSTAD is one of the music monikers of multi-disciplinary artist Thomas van Linge. He is the Co Founder of record labels BAKK and Rubber and the RUBBER TIJD podcast series and lives and works in Berlin. His work covers a variety of disciplines, varying from sculpture and installation to video and sound work, music, and more recently artificial intelligence and the web2/web3 realm. This trans-disciplinairy approach lends itself to take inspiration from a broad spectrum of contemporary cultural phenomena, such as: the ethos and visual heritage of (electronic) music, internet iconography and countercultures. 

For his Sonidos Subterraneos podcast he selected a diversity of raw and distorted tracks from different traditions and decades of techno and electronic music.

@hundredcrusades is the main project of Ethan Lambeau from Belgium, heavily influenced by the current Industrial and electronic body music scene. Hundred Crusades made several appearances on various labels like Acero Records, Voltage Tension, Soil Records, Cutspoons Records & Apéritif de la Mort.

Ethan has two other projects: "Lost Affair", a terrific and sombre project of Drone Noise, mixing lots of moments of Musique Concrète & Sound Collage to create a very dynamic atmosphere, somewhat cinematic, but always haunting. His first mini-album has been released on the obscure label called SVNARX.
And his last project, called "Murdered DJ" is a rave-like fast tempo project tinted of Hard Techno/Gabber & Acid music elements.
