Samo Records is thrilled to introduce Extase Urbaine's debut EP, "Sacred Winds"! Hailing from Athens, the DJ/Producer presents 4 tracks that delve into the darker realms of Techno leftfield.
Kicking off the EP is the title track, “Sacred Winds”, a hypnotic burner that sets the tone. “1990” ramps up the energy, while “Wet Abyss” unleashes a high-tempo debauchery monster. Slowing things down, “Hide in the Light” offers a mesmerizing blend of new beat and trance.
On the remix front, we have the returning Alpha Sect who speeds up “Hide in the Light” with a Techno / EBM angle. And last but certainly not least, Zaatar puts her signature spin on “Sacred Winds”.

The whole album is a fusion of powerful bass lines, undeniable drum parts, melancholic synths and percussion. Sharpness and danceness, emotions and audacity, mystique and severity. He calls this genre Cold Body Music.

Alpha Sect - Into Eternity

Markus Schneider and Stefan Maurer, known as The Robot Scientists, are two music connoisseurs, DJs, and vinyl collectors hailing from Saarbrücken, Germany.

They are also two of the three founders of Emerald & Doreen Records, established in 2011, which specializes in releases on the fringes of italo and nu-disco.

As DJs, they emphasize italo and arpeggio basslines, believing that more is better. They creatively explore themes like robots, consciousness, psychedelics, superpowers, aliens, space travel, creativity, futurism, fun, and freedom. Their sound journeys into both utopian and occasionally dystopian realms, though they usually keep things light-hearted, reflecting their fun-loving nature.

Las but not least, they also run SOMETHING SPÆCIAL since 2013, one of the genre leading mix series on Soundcloud.
