Half the Nation is a group of folks who have been playing together for at least four years. We have a very tongue in cheek sense of humor that is definitely reflected in our music. Most of the band has been active in other projects since the early 2000s. Our blend of Folk/Rock/Alt Country has contagious melodies that when you hear the lyrics it leaves you shocked and maybe laughing or running.
