Marissa Anglin started her professional career after signing to a Sony distributed Independent label. Marissa's talent was instantly recognised and she found herself opening for platinum-selling artists such as OutKast and 112.

From this great start, Marissa relocated to the United States where she continued to build a creative relationship with mega-producer Stevie Dent, who worked on her first debut album. & other artists such as Little Kim & Biggie Smalls respectively. Additionally, alongside rapper/writer Iwise, they assembled & performed with a stellar 4-piece band entitled "The Absence of Doors". Marissa also performed, wrote & recorded multiple tracks with the very talented vocalist & songwriter "Gerideau".
Marissa also had the privilege of recording & co-writing with Adam Sky, aka Adamski, from Seal fame.

Marissa Anglin has been described by music insiders, as a prolific songwriter, with a sultry voice.

After collaborating with R&B producer Haz, who worked with Drake, she is now back in the UK, looking to expand her repertoire! Within a month of her return, Dawn has already started recording with some amazing producers such as Pep & Rash.

Fast forward to September 2020, Marissa has officially graduated from the University Of Westminster with a (BA)Honours in Music Production, Performance & Enterprise. As of 2022 Marissa now has a Master's in Songwriting.
