An abstract representation of how I felt after my first breakup. Deeply in love for 4 years, but dreams and distances, along with ignorance, pulled us apart. At first, I blamed myself, which devoured me. I turned to substances and struggled to live a sober life, scarred by a past love. There was no real effort on my part to accept the end of our love story until I began to seek a higher power. God and Lord Jesus' grace is working through my life slowly, but that's only because of my own hesitancy in accepting a type of love that was lost even before my relationship began. In the end, I'm learning how to let go of the anger, insecurities, and sadness. I want to focus on becoming exceptional in self-care and strive to be more curious, enjoying life as it comes instead of being high and gliding by, never opening up my heart to another because of past traumas.
