A   Databending Composition  

The compositional approach is based on the analysis of processes.
The given choreography of the melting of the characters as a process is very short - even the animation which was used must be analyzed greatly slowed down -When transforming this Animation in midi data changes the process and transfer to a digital or analog electronic sound device is an elementary part of the material composition.
It is this relationship or potential in the data that is artistically “researched”.
Sonification is actually “just” artistic transformation .

Electroacoustic music is one of the youngest phenomena in contemporary music culture. For this reason, the study of its history and aesthetic principles; research of instruments and tools; analysis of the electroacoustic composers’ works in Ukraine and over the world just begins. In 1997 with the support of International Renaissance Foundationat the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy was created first Electroacoustic music studio in Ukraine and the Music Technologies Department. The first professors of The Department were Igor Piaskovski, Igor Stetsyuk, Alla Zagaykevych, Sviatoslav Luniov, who created their own courses: "Computer analysis of music texts", "Electronic sound synthesis", "Composition, synthesis and audio processing with a computer ","History of electroacoustic music", "Music technologies".
In the circle of contemporary composers initiated regular international projects with concerts and workshops "Electroacoustics" (since 2003) and "EM - VISIA (since 2005) (director Alla Zagaykevych), where the music composed by students and graduates of Academy is regularly performed.
Electronic music studio collaborates with ethnomusicologists and provides mutual researches using acoustic research methods. In 2011 professors and composers of the Department created Ukrainian Association of Electroacoustic Music (Chairman – Alla Zagaykevych), which became a member of the International Confederation of Electroacoustic Music CIME / ICEM.

the International Electroacoustic Workshops (Kyiv, 2017), dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Music Technologies Department and Electroacoustic Studio at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy – first attempt at a thorough study of Ukrainian electroacoustic music. The CDs contains the works of Ukrainian composers from 1964 until 2017.

Die sieben Fingerübungen stehen in der Tradition von Konzertetuden wie denen von Chopin, die ja vollgültige Kompositionen sind, wenngleich der Fokus immer auch auf einen technischen Aspekt gerichtet ist, der das Werk maßgeblich kennzeichnet. Jede einzelne Fingerübung wird ausschließlich durch ein bestimmten digitales Verfahren dominiert - bei der ersten handelt es sich um eine Variante des Karplus-Strong-Algorithmus, bei der zweiten um eine Sonifikation von Newtons Gravitationsgesetz, bei der dritten und vierten habe ich die Periodizitäten von zellulären Automaten als Grundmaterial verwendet, bei der fünften werden Dreiecksschwingungen, die zueinander im Quadrupelprimzahlverhältnis stehen, überlagert, bei der sechsten habe ich das Klangmaterial durch den Bubble-Sort-Algorithmus erzeugt,  und das siebente schließlich wurde von der Brownschen Teilchenbewegung inspiriert.
