The Get Down Mix 2023

Dj TRANSITIONS...or is it the TRANSITIONS of our lives?  I love a good theme when making mixes.  This is my follow up to my last mix "Dancefloor" and includes some of my favorite current Dancefloor DnB, Jungle and a pinch of Jump Up.  The tracks on this one fit the vibe of the theme, some great transitions, double drops, long rides, plus more vocals than i normally would use but they all play off each other tastefully.  The original art for the mix is something i did a long time ago with pastels, and it has been incorporated into the design by my talented friend GRYMLIFE.  This was mixed live and recorded, post mastered by Bello Music.

DJ Eft is a terrestrial amphibian with roots in NJ & Philadelphia. The now Portland based DJ, producer, designer, animator, & "World Healer" has spent time slinking through the mycelial forest duff, sampling the sounds and flavors of the PNW old growth and ocean. Eft is a natural farmer with a strong connection to the cycles of nature and makes contact with the spirits regularly which guide his ethereal selections in ambient, hypnotic techno, dub techno, trance infused tech-house, 4th world, and experimental IDM. 

I first met DJ EFT, also known as Mugwert at Aqua Lucidity, a festival on the sunshine coast last year. I awoke in my tent the Saturday morning after a heavy session to amazing selections I initially thought were coming from the main and only stage. Instantly drawn to the post night early morning DMT energy coming out of his portable mini rig - we became friends. 

I later in the summer travelled down to Canyon Vibrations in Oregon to watch EFT play the downtempo stage where I entered into another realm from his selections. 

Anyway stoked to have the homie on the Inc.ternational series where we're searching far and wide for those off kilter and beautiful moments in music out of the mundane and formulaic. 

EFT has delivered a Weirdos inc. Mix for sure and i'm sure you'll enjoy!
