Xaman Ek / Orion is calling for us

El agua es el eje de la cosmovisión Mapuche. Los ancestros creadores habitan en el firmamento en donde debe existir un perfecto equilibrio. Existen dos mundos; Mapu, correspondiente a la Tierra, el lugar que los seres mundanos habitan; y por otro lado esta Huenu, que corresponde a la comarca de los espíritus y las almas. Es indispensable que estos dos mundos coexistieran un perfecto equilibrio.
El río Bio Bio fuente de vida y organización social, no puede ser parte del mundo terrenal (mapu) sin que existiera su símil en el mundo espiritual. De esta forma “El gran río de la tierra, Futa Leufú, tiene su equivalente en el gran río del cielo, Huenu Leufú, la vía láctea. En este plano espiritual, y en este “río galáctico", es donde viven aquellos antepasados que poblaron la tierra en los orígenes de esta.
Esta es una invitación a conectarse con nuestra cosmovisión andina-mapuche aho!

Fernando Valdés a.k.a Xaman Ek. Nace bajo las estrellas del Valle de Elqui Chile. Con grandes inspiraciones musicales, comienza a los 12 años tocando percucciones. Haciendo sus propios instrumentos de materiales autóctonos. Luego paralelamente comienza a mezclar diferentes estilos musicales desde el funk roots reggae hasta la electrónica. El 2010 descubre el Trance Psicodelico y se adentra en las entrañas de esta tribu. Mezclando, componiendo y produciendo en un constante desarrollo. Buscando generar un viaje de introspección, una conexión con nuestro ser, con nuestra tierra y el cosmos. 

Fernando Valdes a.k.a Xaman Ek. Born under the stars of the Elqui Valley Chile. With great musical inspirations, begins at age 12 playing percucciones. Making their own instruments of native materials. Then parallel begins mixing different styles of music from funk to electronic roots reggae. The 2010 discovers the psychedelic trance and goes into the depths of this tribe. Mixing, composing and producing in constant development. Looking for generate a journey of introspection, a connection with ourselves, with our earth and the cosmos.
