After signing its first vinyl and digital release last May, Weird Planet returns with a digital fundraiser compilation project, just to start the year off right.

Through this VA bringing together no less than 16 artists, the Lyon-based booking agency - and young label - defends a vision that reflects its roster : eclectic, hybrid and far from the pre-established standards. An exploration of the dancefloor in its most uninhibited forms, crossing acid-techno, psychedelic trance, groovy tribe and other unidentified sound objects.

In addition to the strictly musical aspect, it is also and above all the opportunity to contribute to a cause that goes beyond the borders of our scene, since all income generated by the digital sale of this compilation will be donated to the refugee aid association Act For Ref, which provides accommodation solutions, food, administrative or material support and French lessons.

In the acid techno scene their name is already huge, but after a visit to Ozora and ZNA they decided to make a psychedelic project as well. Be a bit open minded because its the perfect mashup between goa-trance, acid, acid-trance and even a small pinch of modern psy-trance in between! What made their performance even more impressive was the the fact the set was played from analog live machines! :) For sure you will hear more within our scene of these 2 talents in the future! :)

Too Much Data (TMD) is Aharon Segal from the legendary Goa Trance duo MFG and Chen Shmuel aka Atmik. The duo met at a festival in Kasol (Parvati Valley, India) in 2023 and has been writing music together since then. Too Much Data style is a unique mix of exciting old Goa melodies and the new sound. My set for the Apsara Mini Online Festival on August 16, 2020. I had been due to play at the festival in Romania but as with all other events it was canceled. This set is very different from what I would have played at the festival - these are all released tracks (for my super-rare stuff, you need to hear me in person) - but these are all killers, and this set features a number that I haven't played in a very long time.
