One Day in Tokyo was the first Ozorian celebration of the new year. Unfortunately this event also marked the end of an era, as it was the very last psytrance party held at club ageHa, which had hosted 7 years of unforgettable and successful Japanese-Ozorian events, before its final closure in February, 2022. Now you can transport yourself back to the atmosphere of the final One Day edition at ageHa through these onsite recordings.

If you are reading this far it means you have taken a deeper interest, certainly enough to inspire me to write something meaningful and authentic here at least! Our Minds just did that though, this year made an even bigger impact by delivering one of the most meaningful and authentic psychedelic music festival experiences I’ve ever attended in our wonderful city of Cape Town. I preempted and wished for this. So just in case it was to be, I made sure to bring the heat. This was the outcome.

We’re On the Way to O.Z.O.R.A., together with one of this summer’s Main Stage blasters, Illumination, who’s joining us for a few words before we get into the festival mood with his special mix.

Amir Dvir, Started his musical career back in 97 at the very young age of 16, he started his career under the project “Luminus”, which he released 3 albums under that name with Hommega and Phonokol Records. A few years later in the year 2000 Amir decided that he wants to take a different musical direction and he started “Illumination” project, it didnt take much time until he teamed up with one of Hommega’s founders “Xerox” and they formed the duo “Xerox & Illumination”, which they released 4 albums and played gigs all over the world for more then 10 years. In May 2007 the british “DJMag” magazine voted X&I as one of the 10 influential psytrance acts.
Around the year 2012 Amir started the “Born Sleepy” project, his solo side project that focused on a more slower, flowing progressive music and released several tracks in labels such as Iboga, Hommega and TIP records.
Amir is also part of the duo “Humanoids” which he formed together with OldSkool Goa artist “Sandman” in 2014.
Nowadays, Amir joined the Zero1 Label Family, coming with a new “Illumination” sound, filled with analogue synths and intelligent production. his first EP is coming soon and is just a little taste of the upcoming album.

His journey took him all the way to incredible gatherings such as Boom Festival, Hadra Festival, Dream Gathering, Sonica Festival, ZNA Gathering, Infected Festival, in countries like Brazil, Mexico, France, Germany, Spain and Hungary, to mention some.
