“Heat Waves” is a song by English group Glass Animals, released as a single from their third studio album Dreamland on 29 June 2020. It was released alongside its music video.
"Heat Waves" is the group's most successful single to date. In addition to reaching number five on the UK Singles Chart and being a top-five hit in several other European countries, it reached number one in Australia, Canada, Lithuania, Switzerland and the United States, where it reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 after a record-breaking 59 weeks on the chart.[3][4] By September 2021, the song had accumulated more than one billion streams on Spotify.[5] At the 2022 Brit Awards "Heat Waves" was nominated for Best British Single.[6]

Following on from their Record Store Day ‘Looped EP’ release, which featured remixes by Dauwd and Lubomyr Melnyk, Kiasmos – made up of Ólafur Arnalds and Janus Rasmussen – return with three new tracks and a remix by Tale Of Us.

Recorded in various locations including Reykjavík and Berlin, the EP opens with ‘Drawn’, a four-minute percussion fuelled track with gentle piano motifs. ‘Gaunt’ features the addition of ambient synths and a drum loop, underpinned by slow-moving chords. Title track ‘Swept’ which the duo offered to fans as a surprise gift in form of a free download card at previous show dates, showcases a more club-oriented beat structure alongside Kiasmos’ signature emotive instrumentation. 
 
Closing the EP is a remix from Berlin-based duo Tale of Us who met Kiasmos in London and twist the original downbeat title track
into their distinctively dark aesthetic. Pulsating hats and a driving bass loop add pace as the track builds toward an epic breakdown.

The ‘Swept EP’ will be released on 12”/DL via Erased Tapes on November 20th, 2015.

Kas:st release the anthemic ‘Hold Me To The Light’ on Afterlife with a Tale Of Us remix.

The French duo Kas:st are behind the highly-anticipated vocal track that has been creating special moments in recent sets. The original is arranged to journey through downtempo, piano and vocoder sections as well as a powerful peak. Tale Of Us’ remix extends its climax into a true dancefloor epic. The vocal breakdown, subtle progressions and monumental sound design is the perfect complement to Kas:st’s own masterpiece.

On the record’s B-side, ‘The Hymn Of Fallen Dreams’ switches the title-track’s lyrics for a more understated, ghostly lead line whilst retaining its extended form. Closing track ‘Be Yourself’ is the most direct of the four with a groove and deep pulse primed for the peak-hours.
