This is actually my second mashup of The KLF's "What Time Is Love", but I was never entirely happy with the first one. This one is a mix of the classic 1988 Pure Trance version blended into Future Funk Squad's "Isolate" (Beta Remix) to add a good amount of breaks to it.

Madame Electrifie - Box Of Tricks Episode 17

After releasing the second EP by the Funkin Basstards we though it would be appropriate to follow up with a remix EP of the 4 originals jams from the Drop The Mirrorball EP.To do that in style we hooked up with some of the best producers in the scene to all put their personal twist on these catchy disco bangers.
Starting this off with the label head honcho BadboE who comes heavily armed with the nu skool breaks and some silky smooth disco grooves for the Feel The Vibe track. A classic BadboE treatment with multiple sections of grooves to bring out the very best of the sweet vocals by Sofia Kamina.
To follow this up we&rsquo;ve turned to the true veteran from the funky breaks scene that can do no wrong when it comes to remixing. Jayl Funk is at it again with some well-arranged nu disco flavors to skillfully transform the lead track 2000 feat. Sofia Kamina into a smashing Jayl Funk anthem.
If you want the unspoiled breakbeat funk there is only one remixer to call for: Pecoe. He done a number on the originally mellow Drop The Mirrorball and turned it into a dancefloor breakbeat banger!
Last but not lease we wanted to turn up the heat a bit and invited the Sons of Satin to do some uptempo hardcore breaks remix of the Soul Disco jam.

A deep dig into the old skool rave vinyl on a cold, wet lockdown eve.  One of those spontaneous sets to stave off the Covid-era madness.  If you're a 90s kid, a cheesy-quaver-hardcore-raver, then you should love this. It starts with breakbeat hardcore and then gets a bit pumping Metro GTi. All tunes that mean a great deal to me. Originally this went out as a DJ livestream on my Periscope channel. Gear is: original vinyl + Technics 1210s (still my 1994 originals, well-serviced) + Pioneer RMX500 effects + Rane 72 mixer + T-Racks for some mastering sparkle.

We have featured on the world famous Street Sounds Radio "5 Minutes of fire mix" and hold a monthly 2 hour slot on BreakFM. We are proud to have supported some great names over the years including Melle Mel & The Furious Five, Kurtis Blow, Jaguar Skills, Dj Yoda to name but a few. 

Trans4mers came 2nd place runners up in the world wide let's mix dj contest held by IDJ magazine. We have also been Nominated in the Best Dj category at the 2023 Shropshire Music Awards. 

We embrace Serato & Phase technology giving us the ability to play lots of classics in our set but we love to mash them up live - Pushing creative boundaries and bringing experimental mash ups to the dance floor. You never hear the same old thing as the last dj's played when we hit the stage. 

Super slick scratching and mixing has earned us props across the scene. We love dropping Old Skool Hip Hop, Nu Breaks, Jungle, 140 Breaks, Retro Electro, Drum&Bass and anything else we fancy... a bit of Frank Sinatra or Jefferson Airplane.. no problem! All sprayed with film samples, live loop mash ups and wacky sounds.
