Brahmasutra presents YERBA DIVINA and his live set with unreleased and released tracks, soundscapes designed to refresh your senses and take you through a hallucinating trip. Fernando started producing psytrance in 2014 as "Shivalayam", with the intent to unleash his ideas without limits, then in 2019 he creates the parallel "Yerba Divina" project, focused more on technical and psychedelic music where trance is always in progression. In 2020 Yerba Divina joins the Brahmasutra label family. The first track is "Spiral Clouds" made for the VA compilation "Lockdown Tales" with all label artists. His very first solo EP out on Brahmasutra was "Arborea", a concept EP with three tracks dedicated to nature, trees and forest background, the home of us all. The journey is only beginning, more tales, more sounds and more music to come!!

It's Time to Psychedelic #0136 by PERSPECTIVE (BR)

“Asylum of The Birds” emerged as the creation of something strange and different, with the motive of portraying the connection between the human and the natural in such a way as to sculpt this junction through the various sensations that a singular element can convey, an element portrayed by birds. This “asylum” is a chaotic, metaphorical and literal space, where nature and humanity collide in a disconcerting way with the intention of creating a place that seems to exist outside the norms of reality.
The speaker of this thought is Roger Ballen, and “Asylum of The Birds” is inspired by his surrealist documentary, known for its black and white photographs, which explore themes such as the grotesque, the surreal, the psychological and the existential, depicting claustrophobic scenarios and marginalized characters in strange environments, intertwining reality and fiction.
Like this sound composition, the documentary reflects an interest in exploring the unconscious and the dark aspects of the human psyche. The birds represent both freedom and restlessness, creating a complex metaphor for the characters' state of mind.
“Asylum of the Birds” is not only an exploration of sound, but also a philosophical reflection on the human condition, the limits of sanity and the role of art as a means of transcendence.
