Biographie: 

Der aus Italien stammende Techno Dj Roberto Montemitro aka MadMonkey ist am 19.07.1981 in Schwetzingen geboren. Schon früh erkannte er das er von Elektronischer Tanzmusik magisch angezogen wird. Anfangs ging er auf Drum & Bass partys, später waren es dann Techno Partys. Irgendwann verspürte er den drang, selbst gerne aufzulegen. So versuchte er es mit ca. 26 selbst hinter den Turntables und dem Mixer. Zu Anfangszeiten spielte er mehr Minimal, Minimal Techno. Zusammen mit einem Freund, zog er dann gemeinsam unter dem Namen BunkerBoys durch die Clubs. Sie machten sich in der Region und auch außerhalb der Region einen Namen. Als er dann überraschend Vater wurde, hat er sich entschieden aufzuhören. Er hat sich für sein Sohn und gegen die Musik entschieden. Jahre lang hatte er kaum noch etwas in der Richtung gemacht, außer für sich selbst zu Hause. Nach etwa knapp 8 Jahren Dj Pause, ist er nun wieder am Start. Diesmal aber alleine, noch besser und von der Richtung her noch etwas Härter als vorher. Er hat in Sachen auflegen seinen eigenen Stil entwickelt und ist bekannt für seine deftigen, tiefen & harten Techno Sounds. Bei denen es nur einen Ausweg gibt, Vollgas durch die Mitte. Wer gerne die ganze Nacht nonstop abfeiert, der ist bei ihm garantiert bestens aufgehoben. Er ist wieder zurück und bereit die Menge zum Kochen zu bringen. 


Biography:

The Italian techno DJ Roberto aka MadMonkey was born on July 19th, 1981 in Schwetzingen, Germany. He realized early on that he was magically drawn to electronic dance music. At first he went to drum & bass parties, later it was techno parties. At some point he felt the urge to DJ himself. So at around 26 he tried it himself behind the turntables and mixer. In the beginning he played more minimal, minimal techno. Together with a friend, he then went to the clubs under the name BunkerBoys. They made a name for themselves in the region and outside of the region. When he unexpectedly became a father, he decided to stop. He chose his son over music. For years he had hardly done anything in that direction, except for himself at home. After a break from DJing for about 8 years, he is now back on the road. But this time alone, even better and a little harder in terms of direction than before. He has developed his own style when it comes to DJing and is known for his hearty, deep and hard techno sounds. There is only one way out: full throttle through the middle. If you like to party all night long, you are guaranteed to be in good hands with him. He is back and ready to get the crowd going.
