Während Stars wie Skepta, Virgil Abloh und slowthai im Berghain zu Modenschauen gehen und im Soho House feiern, warten die Akteure der Berliner Musikszene seit über einem Jahr darauf, zu einer Normalität mit gefüllten Tanzflächen zurückzukehren. In dieser Folge des Telekom Electronic Beats Podcasts geht Moderatorin Gesine Kühne auf die Straßen Berlins, um Clubbetreiber*innen, DJs und Tänzer*innen zu fragen, wie sich ihr Leben verändert hat und wie sie psychisch mit der Situation umgehen. Clubkultur ist schließlich auch ein Synonym für Nähe und Gemeinschaft—genau das fehlt uns durch die Pandemie. Before we were entering PAL that january afternoon, we agreed on one thing: total freedom of choice of playing whatever we feel like. No Minusmensch thoughts allowed like „Dying to drop this, but already played it a thousand times” or ”Nah, not that one, it's in our latest mix” or whatever DJ-booth-duo-discussion-BS. Just energy. And we got a feeling it worked : ) 

This might not be the most sophisticated gems-only selection to brag about, but it sure is a memento of some serious new years fun.
