Belgium based TNTS' original mix "Caelum" gets the remix treatment from Zoo Brazil for HE-ART Blue label compilation BLUE001. TNTS is a rising star who has previously been featured on Sasha Carassi’s Phobiq in addition to other imprints including the legendary Global Underground.

Zoo Brazil is an influential Swedish artist who first rose to fame via labels like Get Physical before building up an extensive back catalogue including other scene leading imprints such as Anjunadeep, Bedrock, Selador, Knee Deep In Sound, Exploited, Saved Records, Mobilee and Last Night On Earth.

The original mix of “Caelum” opens the release with crisp percussion and the building tension of a subdued synth line, which soon erupts into life with the help of gliding pads and a powerful bassline. Soaring high with emotion, it’s stunning elegance and techy undertones make it a perfect dance floor anthem.

The "Caelum" remix from Zoo Brazil focuses on the ethereal sounds in the high-end frequencies while bringing out the brooding tension of the low end. The perfect combination of dark and light, this is a masterclass in how to put your stamp on a rework while also staying true to the original.

HE-ART Blue is a new label from Oscar Aguilera and it focuses on melodic grooves with throbbing synth lines, epic melodies and uplifting atmosphere.

Gagarin is the solo project of Graham “ Dids” Dowdall  - member of avant-rock legends Pere Ubu and former collaborator with Nico & John Cale and prolific collaborator. As Gagarin, he produces instrumental electronica with a sound of its own it sits astride multiple genres and styles. He has released a series of solo albums which have gained increasing acclaim.
 
“Eskil” is a track taken from his current album The Great North Wood which has been played on BBC6 music, Resonance fm, Reverb Radio alongside numerous premieres ,  a special feature on Bandcamp Daily,and lots of great reviews including:

Gagarin has created his own extended remix of “Eskil” (Green Shoots mix) as part of a series of “ virtual 12s “ taking the opportunity to develop some key elements in the original drenched in distressed melody and glitch beats. He has also commissioned long term ally Prophane to bring a DJ’s approach to his rework
 
Prophane is a legendary French DJ and promoter on the left-field, chill-out scene. He came over to the UK in the early 21st Century and established the now iconic Moon Palace club night/day which ran for several years in Camden, Shoreditch and Paris and became the Sunday after-club favourite of many on the ambient and chill-out scene. Andy Weatherall, Casper Pound, Mixmaster Morris, Tunng and many more all graced the stage or the decks. Now running Camberwell’s famous Rat Records , Prophane is a master selector and curator. Having turned down many requests, this is his first commercially released remix due to his perfectionism and particular tastes.  Prophane adds a found sound vocal sample to the stripped-down beats and snatches of the original melodies to create something that sits between the dance floor and the chillout room.

Had the pleasure to play late night, 2AM-4AM local time, for the We Had Plans Livestream. We Had Plans has been a highly anticipated annual event in Denver for years. While there was no in-person gathering this year, it was a real treat to get the opportunity to play a prime slot. 

For such an occasion, I wanted to keep the energy high, showcase some of the sounds I am seeking and admiring, yet keep the trippy to a maximum.

Enjoy this mix while it is up. I may not keep it up for long, or perhaps I'll cut it down to make room for more music in the near future.
