• Present yourself
Jean-Baptiste, I'm French and I currently live in Lyon, where I'm known as a resident artist of the 23:59 collective. I've already had a long musical background, having started djing when I was quite young and then interested in producing a bit later. I've explored a bit of everything to do with electronic music and I'm still very passionate about sound and its aesthetics.

• What are your artistic influences apart from electronic music ?
I love cinema music, especially films from the 70s and 80s, and science fiction like John Carpenter's soundtracks. On a different note, I'm a big fan of ambient and downtempo albums from the 90s, I listen to them all day long.

• What track would you have liked to produce ?
It would be an imaginary track with a timeless anthem like Born Slippy (Underworld), a perfect techno groove like The Bells (Jeff Mills) and beautiful pads like those of Caterina Barbieri. It would make a great mix.

• Name us 3 labels / artists to follow closely
llian Tape, Lobster Theremin and Blue Hour is a good combo that never disappoints !

Part of "The Visit EP" is a four-track journey through pulsating techno and ethnic rhythms. The EP blends a hypnotic techno groove with energetic, driving percussion, dense cymbals, and layers of synthesizers that carve out space between trance-like immersion and almost ambient moments of respite.

From the opening “Challenge”, with its sharp acid line, through the intense title track “The Visit”, to the relentless “Anticlimax” and the closing “Don’t fail” — at times atmospheric yet deeply moving — the release forms a cohesive, energetic set that nods to 90s techno traditions while remaining fresh.
