Thanks to his musical knowledge he takes every crowd on a journey through sound from old school to modern sound and all the way back. No matter if it takes two or eight hours. His sets are equipped with lots of own productions. Expect hypnotic grooves, shaky rhythms and endless loops that will keep your feet moving.

The DifferentSound Podcast #273 welcomes Habgud! Treading the line between dreamy atmospherics and up-tempo percussive sounds, Habgud is a producer and DJ based in Manchester (UK). The last few years have seen Habgud appear at clubs like The White Hotel, Tresor and Rote Sonne. Aside from DJing he is also known for a multitude of productions released on key UK labels like EarToGround and Clergy. His discography also spills into his own record label B.A.B.E (Burned at Both Ends) which has seen releases that sonically touch all corners of modern techno, each with a slight nod to its original influence. Hear hear, it’s the sound of your soul fanning out.

Arnaud Le Texier is a highly acclaimed DJ and producer in the techno scene, known for his impeccable taste and unique sound that blends Raw Techno, hard techno to deep, hypnotic grooves. With a career spanning over three decades and releases on some of the most respected labels in the industry, 

Arnaud’s career dates back to 1990 when he began managing record shops and building what is now a huge archive of knowledge, taste and musical dedication to his name. His residency at Paris’s Queen and memorable sets around the world perfected Arnaud’s DJ skills, earning him his spot in the worldwide scene where he continues to this day to be a prominent figure. 

Since 1999 Arnaud produced different EP’s & remixes for Soma, Edit Select, Children of Tomorrow, Affin, Symbolism, Materia, Cocoon, Suara just to name few. Arnaud has spent years cultivating his unique, Raw techno with trippy and hypnotic sound displaying his exceptional production skills. 

Arnaud hosts a monthly radio show on Maxximum Radio called Global Techno since 2020.

Since 2013 Arnaud is also producing with Antonio De Angelis under Detect Audio’s alias.

Arnaud is one of the true veterans of the London underground music scene. He’s been making people dance to raw techno and banging beats worldwide for many years with nothing getting in the way of his uncompromising vision for mind-expanding Techno.

Austrian musicians Luca Tresque, Joe Haensn, and Rotary Motion have launched a new underground techno label called Splatter that releases music on vinyl and internet platforms.

Astute musicians like Florian Meindl, JANEIN, Franz Jäger, and Fhase 87 have already been signed to the label.

Daniel Heinrich co-runs Berlin-based Inherit Records, which has included music and remixes by Hadone, Arnaud Le Texier, Insolate, Ferdinger, and others. He is back on Splatter after making an appearance on the launch VA, and also has projects released on Diffuse Reality and Elektrotribe in his own production back catalogue.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Beyond Reality" with a firey, uptempo acid punch. This throbbing missile of energy develops its intensity from a raw groove with modular accents to a gritty and powerful slice of production mastery with the killer vocal hook.
