Belgium’s underground continues to flex its depth as Hiraeth & Drumslave step up for their Dispatch Limited debut with the 'SRSLY' EP. It is a confident first outing on the imprint, rooted in the heritage of rolling Drum & Bass yet shaped with a sharp, contemporary edge.

Working from a shared vision of what the music should feel like at 2am, the pair deliver four carefully engineered cuts plus a Bandcamp exclusive that extends the journey further. Their approach is measured and deliberate. This is groove-focused Drum & Bass that favours atmosphere, control and long-form development over quick-hit theatrics.

The 'SRSLY' EP nods to the kind of club records that quietly become staples. These are rollers built for DJs, tested on heavy systems and designed to breathe inside extended blends. Sub pressure sits low and steady, drums lock into pocket, and tension unfolds gradually rather than exploding on cue. The result is a collection that values patience and precision, carrying weight without ever forcing the issue.

For Hiraeth & Drumslave, this debut on Dispatch Limited feels less like an introduction and more like a statement of intent.

Park Shadow is the project of Finnish producer Joonas Lehtinen, a figure whose roots stretch back to the late '90s Tracker era (where many early seminal OG jungle / D&B tracks were first rooted production wise). A very personal vision of drum and bass, this project reflects a balance between natural formlessness and urban grit.

Park Shadow has (to date) released music on established labels such as Metalheadz, Dispatch, Straight Up Breakbeat, DSCI4, and Utopia Music.

Across 2 releases (in sequence) for Dispatch Blueprints, Park Shadow delivers music born from instinct - capturing a feeling in the moment of their creation, untouched by calculation or compromise. Preserving that raw spark of creation, while paying homage to the foundations of jungle and drum & bass.

Ahead of International Women’s Day 2026 on Sunday 8th March, we’re excited to share a special mix from Transparent Audio core artist and vocalist Lauren Walton.

I really wanted to focus on the incredible female talent within the scene, so for this mix I’ve chosen to only play tracks made by, or in collaboration with, female artists in our industry. Whether it’s solo artists, collaborations, producers, or songwriters, expect a 100% female-made mix. The project has been really fun to put together, and I’m excited to showcase all these talented women.”

Lauren Walton is a Drum & Bass DJ, vocalist, and songwriter based in Leeds, UK, known for blending powerful live vocals with high-energy DJ sets. Emerging from the thriving Northern electronic scene, she has quickly built a reputation for delivering dynamic performances that fuse rolling rhythms, emotive vocals, and atmospheric sound design.

We’ve been working with Lauren for the past 2–3 years, supporting her development as both a vocalist and songwriter. She made her debut on the label with her collaboration with Ferice, ‘On My Mind’, and most recently featured on ‘Come Closer’ with Aaron Payne & Phrase on our 5 Year LP.

Away from Transparent Audio, Lauren is also affiliated with Liquicity, with multiple releases on the platform and appearances on Galacy. Her latest work comes alongside Nixxy Rain (one half of SpectraSoul) on the track ‘Grown’.

Looking ahead, Lauren has several exciting projects in the works, including being part of Felov’s debut LP, due later this year. Beyond collaborations, she is also diving into the world of production, aiming to work more closely with producers throughout the creative process and looking towards releasing her debut solo EP with Transparent Audio in the future.

Let’s come together to celebrate and honour the women who continue to shape and inspire the world of music and beyond.
