'Unity Wins' ist die dritten Single des neuen Pitchtuner Albums 'Ready To Go'. Wer die SciFi Video Clips von Pitchtuner kennt, weiß, dass diese bei ihren Weltraum Abenteuern immer wieder in brenzlige Situationen geraten. Gerade dann ist es ein guter Rat, sich zusammen zu schliessen und alle Kräfte zu bündeln: Gemeinsam sind wir stark, Unity Wins!

Pitchtuner sind die Japanerin Miki Yoshimura und Johannes Marx aus Deutschland. Ihre Geschichte beginnt vor über 15 Jahren mit einem Mix-Tape. Auf der Weltreise von Miki aus Osaka besuchte sie ein Konzert von Johannes ehemaliger Band 'Planet 9' und war so begeistert, dass sie ihn nach einer Kassette fragte. Da 'Planet 9' bis dato nur auf Vinyl veröffentlicht hatte, mussten sich die beiden für die Übergabe des Mix-Tapes verabreden. Es machte Zooom, aus den beiden wurde ein Paar und sie gründeten die gemeinsame Band Pitchtuner. Um Mikis Leidenschaft fürs Reisen und Johannes Liebe zur Musik zu vereinbaren, tourten sie quer durch die Welt und Clubs von Berlin, New York, Tokyo und Shanghai. Über 500 Konzerte auf der ganzen Welt und drei bisher veröffentlichte Alben sind nur ein paar Höhepunkte der Bandgeschichte.

Ihr Stil ist eine eigenwillige Kombination aus Indie-Pop und DIY-Dance Elektronik. Hinzu kommt die exotische Exzentrizität Japans, die sich mit deutschem Sturm und Drang verbindet und in eine zum Tanzen zwingende Bühnenekstase kulminiert.

TRANSIT ELEKTRO brings jazz to the club and to your event. The trumpet-player and producer Florian Scheffler associates with his electric jazz project the sound and improvisation of jazz with the modern aspects of the electronic club scene of his hometown of Berlin. Provided with a healthy dose of Balkan sound, house, lounge and hip-hop, the original Balkan jazz live band TRANSIT became the more flexible and modern two-men-and-a-laptop-band TRANSIT ELEKTRO. 

The project stands out due to the combination of trumpet and other instruments with the power of pre-programmed laptop beats and added and live generated electronic sounds. Taking advantage of delays and other effects, the output of the musicians merges with their studio backings. 

TRANSIT ELEKTRO is versatile in the cast. Trumpeter Florian Scheffler integrates one or more musicians, depending on the occasion and desire. From all alone on stage up to more solo instrumentalists or a whole band - everything is possible, nothing has. What comes out of it? A great live event full of break beats, blue notes, world music samples and alienated vocal tatters somewhere between Nils Petter Molvaer, St. Germain and Balkan Beatz for lounging or dancing. Or just that special something for your party or event.
