OOLONG makes heavy, hardware-focused electronic music built on distortion, repetition, and real-time performance. Using SP samplers, pedals, and synths, the sound leans into grit and texture—loops that grind forward, drums that hit with weight, and bass lines that feel physical. It’s techno, noise, and experimental bass stripped down to the essentials and pushed until they crack.

Nothing is over-polished. Everything comes from hands-on recording, resampling, and live manipulation. The tracks evolve through pressure, feedback, and deliberate imperfections, giving the music a rough edge that feels immediate and alive. It’s minimal, but not soft; simple, but not safe.

Drawing from underground techno, industrial energy, and the raw feel of hardware performance, OOLONG focuses on impact, tension, and a distinct sonic fingerprint. The result is electronic music that hits hard, moves fast, and stays unmistakably human.

Their work incorporates a blend of Southern musical styles, paying homage to influences like DJ Rashad and DJ Screw. Jyanigma is active on all platforms where he releases tracks, albums, and collaborative works. His music often explores experimental beats and unique rhythmic patterns engulfing nostalgic tones and loops that will leave you always wanting more.
