Ms DaDa & The Hapalou come from a land of messy hair, dirty beats, and cheeky smiles. Their musical connection began on a river and has flowed together ever since. Delving into a myriad of genres and countless bottles of red wine the two combine their roots and limbs with a collection of their favorite tracks: A voila Beat Buffet as collaboration platform and concept party was born. The Hapalou has a history as a collector of vintage folk, rock, and blues vinyl and is now a traveler into the depths of bass and rhythms. He draws from all that has come before to put forth familiar and futuristic vibrations. Ms DaDa hails from nomads who possess an insight into the soul. It is this realm she is able to permeate the surface and bring forth an understanding of music few can match. Whether she is playing gypsy, swing, world funk, or German Electro, Ms DaDa deconstructs and fuses together her wide musical background. Together they serve a beat buffet of all genres with the 4&4-floor spice in it.

Left Of Elephant Sound acknowledges the Arrernte people as the traditional and prevailing custodians of the lands on which this music was created and or edited - Mparntwe (Alice Springs – Central Australia).

Based Central Australia, Left Of Elephant Sound is run by Jez Conlon, freelance sound engineer, sound recordist, musician, producer and Dj, who has had over 30 years experience in many facets of the music industry.
 
Jez has worked on the ARIA award winning albums “Gurrumul” (additional recordings) and “Rrakala” (assistant engineer, New York City Avatar Studio) by Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu (Skinnyfish Music), “Muyngarnbi – Walking With Spirits” (sound engineer) – featuring Tom E Lewis and  Ross Hannaford (Daddy Cool), Nabarlek – ‘Manmoyi Radio” (sound engineer – Skinnyfish Music), ‘Tjamuku Ngurra’ – Tjintu Desert Band (CAAMA), and been privileged to recorded many traditional and contemporary songs from indigenous and non indigenous musicians throughout Australia. 
 
Jez has a passion for recording music as live a possible in unique locations, and a specialty in recording acoustic instruments as true to life as possible.

DJ Missfit is a lifer in Australia’s underground dance music scene, with nearly two decades behind the decks and roots that run deep. Raised in Sydney warehouses in the late 90s, she cut her teeth on acid techno and electro before stepping on stage for the first time in 2006.

Over the years, Missfit has played extensively across Australia, from bush doofs to major festivals. She has been on line-ups with artists such as Ticon, Boris Brejcha, Shpongle and John 00 Fleming, and shared stages with a long list of Australian heavyweights, earning place and reputation with her clean mixing and intuitive track selection.

Beyond the decks, Missfit has been a consistent contributor to scene culture, with long-standing involvement in hosting and promoting events across QLD, VIC and the NT. In 2018 she co-founded Pink Noise Cairns, helping create space, visibility and opportunities for women in electronic music.

In recent years she has expanded into visual work, collaborating with a range of artists to delevop music videos and crafting visual performances showcased at a number of events and venues across the Cairns region.

Flim Flam, aKa Malcolm McDonald is an Australian Musicain/DJ/Budding producer from central Australia. Playing drums in Alice Springs Metal Band Miazma since 2008 he has turned his skills to the turntables. Starting  though his beginning as Dj and back up wordsmith with local MC SkankMC. Flim Flam produced tracks on SkankMC's debut EP, He has developed skills on both vinyl and digital mixing.  and is in the works on his own debut  ep now.
He plays a rhythmic mix of up tempo Drum and Bass with a hefty dose of  Bass Heavy Half-Time with a spicy dash of Trap for good measure.  (and the occasional blast beat \m/.)
Flim Flam has touring alongside SkankMC in 2013, which included Big Day Out and side shows in Perth and Adelaide. Along with the 2 studio albums, 3 Australian tours and 1 international tour with metal band Miazma, its easy to say that Flim Flam is a prolific musician and extremely dedicated to his craft(s) and strives to make the people move.
