Paul Ritch is back on Drumcode with his astounding new single ‘Brainwash’. Perfectly capturing the energetic, driving techno sound that Paul is capable of, ‘Brainwash’ delivers something that really engrains into the memory and leaves the dancefloor filled with vitality. On the flip side, ‘Inside Me’ is a heavily percussive rolling track that uses interesting synth hooks and stabs to create a rocking groove that creates vigour and depth that Paul’s techno represents.

We proudly welcome NYC&#8217;s Boris to Evolution as he has graced us with one of his finest tracks to date in the form of &#8220;You&#8221;. Warped female vocals are the show-stopper here, the rocksteady rhythm section chugs away effortlessly and huge washes add to the tense vibe. In the distance, haunting synths race against time and intertwine with chaotic reverberations. Paride Saraceni opts for a dubbier approach and employs his rubber-band bass and skipping drums. Looking to his effects box for the extra magic, he creates the trademarked cavernous atmosphere that he is known for.

At once a meeting of two worlds, and yet also a dismissal of those signifiers, 11 11 inverts the recent dialogue between the worlds of hip-hop and electronic music, eschewing simple radio friendly factory fare, for darker, richer, deeper soundscapes. 11 11 is not a project aimed at main-stages and masses, but outliers and after-hours.

The ever-prolific Marc Galindo returns to Transmit and dives straight into heads-down territory with &#8220;My Feelings&#8221;, where the mechanized background and commanding stabs roll out the track effortlessly, while the bubbling sub bass ensures maximum momentum. 
&nbsp; The moodier &#8220;Damn Straight&#8221; is up next, with thick synths darkening things up over a rocksteady rhythm section. The air is pierced by streamlined rises and snare edits, as a pitched-down vocal loop adds to the madness.

Kasbah Zoo and OniWax return to Transmit and kick things off with the sleazy bassline of &#8220;Break Bone&#8221;, accompanied by quirky, funked-out riffing and a commanding vocal. Things take a different turn on &#8220;Toxic Innocence&#8221;, where a one-note piano lead takes center stage while the whole track is based on a more stripped-down approach. Closing up, &#8220;Felt Fat&#8221; shuffles along sporting a thick vibe, courtesy of the heavy chord action, letting haunting, modulated synths eventually form melodic patterns.

Matt Lange - Inorganism [EDM.com Premiere]

We welcome Eric Sneo back on Transmit with his rework of 2012&#8217;s &#8220;Sensation&#8221; where he has kicked things up a notch or two, transforming the affair into a grinding behemoth. The vocal has been updated and mangled to taste, while the apocalyptic breakdown offers a welcomed epicness to match the militant bassline. The Junkies remix opts for a more stomping vibe with audio manipulation taking center stage and the looped vocal intertwining with the stripped-down groove. Alex Costa and Alex Mine get together for another rendition where we are treated to a spacious approach with effects galore, letting steamrolling drums and streamlined synths drive it home in style.

Mixpak Records is proud to present “Jealous," the new two track EP from Brooklyn-via-Miami producer Jubilee that sinks deep into both her Florida bass music roots and her diverse club influences.

"Explosion" is a powerful hybridized bomb of bass that manages to make dancers both jack AND freak. How is that possible? Enter the power of Jubilee. That kick drum might be referencing UK club sounds but those 808's are all Miami. What if Pitbull went to Eskimo Dance in London in 2003? He might have asked for a track like "Explosion," but no one would have known how to properly execute. Jubilee knows, though.

Referential but never retro, “Jealous" conjures up images of a DJ mid-blend during a rave on the beach, transitioning from Miami Bass into Freestyle, or a white label from Bow. Close your eyes, imagine palm trees and flamingos getting down under a disco ball, while Debbie Deb just stands in the corner, nodding approvingly.
