Situated on the east coast of Au Neurorythmic, Josh Barr is an Australian producer with eclectic musical interests and a deep-rooted passion for sound.
Influenced by piano and guitar from a young age before exploring the world of electronic sounds, Josh released his debut EP, “Psyborganic Matter,” with Adapted Records in December 2010.
Since then, he has developed his own unique blend of psytrance and modern bass music crafting a distinctive sound—a melodic fusion of funky, fun, twisted, and introspective elements—inviting listeners to move, think, and explore new musical landscapes.
Over the years, he has continued to evolve his sound, releasing an album and EP with Kinematic Records and collaborating with respected labels such as Inner Lotus, Pyrethrum, Insonitus, and Twizted Lotus Records, among others. This has offered him the opportunity to perform at notable festivals such as Tribal Summer Fest in New Caledonia, Luminate Festival NZ, Earth Frequency AU, PSYFARI, Origins Of Entropy and many others.
With a passion for rolling basslines, twisted jazzy stabs, and dynamic melodic soundscapes, he remains committed to exploring and expanding his musical boundaries, aiming not only to entertain but also to inspire and create moments that resonate and connect with the audience on a deeper level.

Xavier L.-B. aka Contrapunctus is a progressive Psytrance producer and musician. A music lover from a very young age, he’s now a professional violist, playing in various groups and symphony orchestras as a classical performer, and is passionate about underground electronic music.
 
His first encounter with Psytrance, at Timeless Festival 2017, had an enormous impact on him. As a result, he decided to produce his own sound by taking classes with well-known Canadian producer Black Marvin. Contrapunctus’s music is captivating, infused with juxtaposed rhythms, evolving melodies, and soundscapes that evoke orchestral music. His musical universe combines novelty and tradition in an organic manner, all in a unique Psy/Prog style. In this regard, his artist name refers to a writing technique used by Johann Sebastian Bach in which multiple melodic lines are interwoven to form a harmonious combination.

In 2023, Contrapunctus joined the Quebec collective Abduction Tales, and released his first EP Creatio as well as his single Dignity on Adhara Records.
In 2024, he released Conscious EP on Divinity Records, Continuum on Diatonic Records and Monk Chant on Adhara Records as well. He also played his first official live set at Era Festival.

Xavier L.-B. alias Contrapunctus est un producteur de Psytrance progressive et un mélomane dans l’âme depuis l’enfance. Il gagne aujourd’hui sa vie comme altiste au sein de différents ensembles et orchestres symphoniques comme interprète classique et il se passionne pour la musique électronique underground. 

Sa première rencontre avec la Psytrance, au festival Timeless 2017, l’a profondément marqué. Il décide alors de produire sa propre sonorité en suivant des cours avec le producteur d’ici  bien connu Black Marvin. La musique de Contrapunctus est envoutante, infusée de rythmes juxtaposés, de mélodies évolutives et de paysages sonores pouvant évoquer des musiques orchestrales. Son univers musical combine nouveauté et tradition de façon organique, le tout dans un style Psy/Prog unique. Son nom d’artiste, en ce sens, fait référence à une technique d’écriture utilisée par Jean-Sébastien Bach qui consiste à entremêler plusieurs lignes mélodiques pour former un amalgame harmonieux.

En 2023, Contrapunctus rejoint le collectif québécois Abduction Tales et sort son premier EP Creatio, ainsi que le single  Dignity sous étiquette Adhara Records.

Jeez Us est un Dj/Producer du Québec originaire de Trois-Rivières. Dj résident chez Alpaka Muzik, il est 
spécialisé dans plusieurs genres musicaux tels que la Techno Minimal, la Techno Psychédélique, la Trance Psychédélique, et même des style tels que Organic House . Melodic House et Ambient Chill Out!
Son projet a pour but de donner à ses auditeurs des sensations auditives et vibratoires orgasmiques (let's Jeez Us!), en les emmenant dans de longs voyages progressifs et énergiques !  

Maîtrisant l’art de certaines techniques comme le Looping, le Fx control et le sampling, il offre une expérience à son image, créant des moments de dance uniques à chaque performance ! 
En 10 ans, il fût l’invité d’évènements d’envergure de la scène psy / techno, comme le Futur Forest, Groove'N'Bass, Element Festival, ArtikFest, Soundwaves, Era Festival et de plusieurs soirées Électronique underground en région Québec/Montréal.

Jeez Us se dédie également à la conception d’évènements au sein du collectif Third Frequency à Trois-Rivières. Avec amour, passion et simplicité, il partage sa vision de l’art avec son entourage, connecte les gens en leur faisant vivre une aventure haute en émotions et ouvre de nouvelles facettes de l’expérience musicale!
