Thomas Terrier, aka Solar Impulse, DJ and producer, was born in 1989 in Arraial d’Ajuda, Brazil. Playing prog/psytrance and darkpsy since 2004 at parties in Brazil, Switzerland, France, India, Italy, the UK, and Germany.

Solar Impulse é o projeto de música eletrônica criado por Thomas Terrier, nascido no sul da Bahia. Ele iniciou as técnicas de mixagem em 2004, aos 15 anos, em Arraial d’Ajuda, terra natal do trance no Brasil, onde teve a oportunidade de se apresentar e dividir o palco com grandes artistas nacionais e internacionais, como The First Stone, Labirinto, Mack, Dimitri Nakov, Etnica, Tristan, Naked Tourist, entre outros. Pouco tempo depois, passou a se interessar pelo sound design, especialmente nas vertentes do psy-trance, darkpsy e hitech.

Desde os 17 anos, vivendo na Europa, tem se apresentado em diversos países por onde passou: Suíça, França, Itália, Alemanha, Inglaterra e Índia.

Madhatter started listening to Psytrance in 2002, when he heard Rastaliens for the first time and it changed his world. With the support of the Psytrance community he started DJing. He got his start at Smoke on the Water, and its all been uphill since then. He is no longer just "NY’s new up and coming Night Time DJ", but has shown us all he is so much more. Wether your looking for some Morning, Forest, Night Time, Hi Tech etc… Madhatter has got you covered and you know it will be full power all the way, no matter what style he plays. Not only does he offer a variety of musical styles to choose from, all options guarantee a packed dance floor, as he spins the night away with his sexy, groovy psychedelic beats. Was in 2000 that Manuel Batista began to be deeply connected with music. Full of heavy tunes, from heavy metal to black, the love for music began, and the first connection to the music itself was when he began to learn guitar.
Later in 2003 he "discovers" electronic music, Psy Trance, going at his first open air party. From that moment till then, his passion for electronic music grew exponentially.

In 2005 he starts playing DJ set’s in some places just for fun, but a couple of years later, with the love of mixing reaching an higher level, things tends to be more serious and he began to play in some clubs, open air parties and bigger events.

In 2012 he starts an advanced dj grade, that give him a more refined and technical vision of electronic music theory and production. In the same year, in order to go further, he starts an academic graduation in electronic music and musical production and since then share his time between production and mixing.

His set's can follow several paths that may travel in the darker side of Psy Trance or can follow more groovy psychedelic trails. The order is to simply innovate and improve, no matter what kind of music style. Without rules or limits.
