StarLab Live Set - Boom Festival 2022 Dance Temple

Hey everyone ! Glad to share with you today our B2B DJ Set played this summer in Own Spirit festival with my brother Originz. This set is a glimpse of what we love, from very groovy psychedelic stuff to deeper atmospheres. We gave our best on this one and the reaction of the crowd is stuck in our mind forever!

Raphael & I play together since we started psytrance, we have been through a long and beautiful journey together with Outrance and teamed up for B2B sets more than twenty times. It was amazing to share our mutual music favorites on this B2B set, it was the first time we play together in a big festival and it was absolutely massive. Thanks so much to the Own Spirit team for making it happen.

Digital Om Productions present RAVE NINE. Rave Nine is a project by Paarth Agarwal, from New Delhi, India. Paarth’s musical journey started almost a decade back while doing his MBA in Toronto, Canada, but fate had a different plan for him. He fell in love with the art of psytrance. He feels honored to be officially signed to one of the top labels in the game, Digital Om and Next Generation Music. Over the years, he has released on record labels such as Digital Om, Tesseract Studio, Expo Records, Techsafari, Next Generation Music (brand new label from Digital Om) and many more. Rave Nine is a cross between Full-On and Progressive PsyTrance. He feels uplifting melodies are an essential part of his tracks, while still keeping his tracks on the darker side of the spectrum. He also likes to experiment with Indian and Arabic sounds to give some ethnic feel to his tracks. In the future, expect some fresh music that may defy most of the existing psychedelic subgenres... EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED. About this mix, Rave Nine says: "Get into the flow state with this mix, which includes my favorite releases and some special edits I play during live sets, and it includes an unreleased track, coming out very soon. If you dig Middle Eastern Vibe, this set is for you."

Ivan Damjanić aka DJ Pila is a family man but also very active member of the psytrance community since 2002. After years of going to parties, he gets involved in organizing and promoting psy-trance culture. He learned all about DJ-ing and event organization through "Ministry of Psychedelia" crew. He is also the man behind many other projects like "Bootanika", "ChilliBar", "Cufus" and others. He is an active member of Forestdelic Records and he has compiled a VA for them under the name "Pangea".

This guest mix is by RAJAX, who adds: "Recorded at home for the Pollux session. Fun fact: the darkest set of my life happened during a weird period. I poured all my frustration into it, which is why it turned out so dark, unlike what I usually play. I just needed an escape, haha." Since 2013, William has immersed himself in the psytrance scene, giving birth to his project RAJAX. He made his stage debut in 2015 with Outrance and quickly gained recognition for his progressive and full-on psytrance sets. In 2017, he joined the Senoï Project and released his first compilation, GENOME, in 2019. By 2023, he became part of Transubtil Records, evolving toward darker and faster sets while maintaining his signature groove.  RAJAX has performed at major festivals such as Ozora, Own Spirit, Origins, and Hadra. Each of his performances is unique, leaving a strong impression on dancefloors and solidifying his place in the psytrance scene—creating unforgettable moments for the audience.

Rubuscubus started his project in 2018 and focuses on psychedelic music. He was Producing and DJing Minimal and Techno since 2010 and got into Psy about 2 years later. In 2013, he launched his project 'Soundwerk', which has become a collection of musicians and DJs. Meanwhile, he released his music on several compilations and played live sets all over Europe. His style is influenced by Blues, Jazz, Rock and World-Music and "filled with funky fresh bubbly twilight atmospheric sounds."
