Imaginary Landscapes is Eduardo Vélez, a mexican dj and producer based in Lisbon, he performed a piece of experimental electronic music with Antonio Russek, a world wide known name in sound art, at Tallera Siqueiros in Cuernavaca, Mexico. Actually Imaginary Landscapes moves between Mexico City and Lisbon playing at different venues. Eduardo also has a duo project with Floating Machine called 'Teixo' releasing their first EP on Secuencias Temporales.

Very close to the experimental electronic music and sound art, Imaginary Landscapes combines different electronic soundscapes in his sets, always looking for the proper sample or loop, IL reaches and creates imaginary atmospheres: an instant into the inner side of music.

Simone Giudice (@simonegiudice), class ‘89, is a composer and sound artist based in Rome, who accesses the world of musical experimentation through the club door. His techno and dance oriented attitude is the origin of a pro- found study of the sound acquired in the academic studies of electro-a- coustic composition at the “Santa Cecilia” Music Conservatory of Rome. In his journey as a sound designer, he continually witnesses the oscillation between intimate ambient / drone / experimental paths and the creation of peculiar rhythmic patterns of the most inspired techno ambient.

Originally from a metalcore and hardcore background he has always enjoyed electronic and experimental music. Delving deep in the unknown space of impulsive rhythms, dissociative sounds and dark and eerie atmospheres, his goal is to mesmerize the listeners with his productions and DJ-Sets. He has been establishing his soundscapes in the local and international scene since 2019. In the ’90s, a move to the UK brought Lateral Movement into the heart of a vibrant music culture, where he explored a wide range of genres, from free jazz to indietronica. Returning to Portugal meant leaving behind that diversity, which led him to focus on supporting alternative music scenes and connecting with others who shared similar values. Over time, this turned into a personal journey of discovering and sharing music. Today, his passion lies in the deeper, hypnotic sides of techno, where ambience and atmosphere take the lead.
