Trashlagoon's first release '"Entracte" EP on Lenient Tales Recordings features five tracks from the duo from Düsseldorf and their authentic twig-like sound. Authentic and outstanding. The perfect home base for the Berlin-based label Lenient Tales Recordings.

"Session 87", track one on the new Trashlagoon release, features mediterranean flamenco inlets and fragments of an head register vocal spot. Brought into the front with flushy synth accents. Nice and smooth mirrors reflecting the sun and breaking them into dissonance. An on-going highly driven minimal beat pressuring against the thickened jaded synth pad. Getting woodier and knockier in the second part of the second track "Reflection". Acoustic drums and sparkling synths surrounded by an ambient mood with fine gadgets and an humming voice form track number three "Undefined Smth".

The "Entracte" EP also features two exclusive and nicely done remixes of "Session 87" by Parra for Cuva and the French TOYS, that bring a completely new and distinct vibe to the original takes.

Kraut is an alter-ego of renowned Amsterdam producer Daniel Zuur. 

He has been a household name on the German and Dutch electronic music scene since 2009 having played iconic clubs and festivals such as Katerblau (Berlin) Sisyphos (Berlin), Paradiso (Amsterdam) and Baum (Bogota, Colombia). 
With Kraut he’s bound to bring his audience a flux of world music influenced electronica, different tempo’s and lots of percussion.

Finally, Nheengatu is the last track and tells a bit of the history of that dead Brazilian language, which brought aspects of all the languages ​​spoken during the colonial period, Portuguese, Tupi and other native dialects and African dialects that came with the black people during slavery in Brazil.

Minguante is the Brazilian Portuguese for the “waning moon” - the most introspective and reserved phase of the moon. Inspired by the mysterious attraction of the this moment, Brazilian producer Kurup´s latest EP invites us into his world with four fairytale tracks, rich in sculpted electronic sound, exquisitely chosen percussion and flourishes of the musical traditions of his Brazilian background.

Born in Cerrado, the vast tropical savannah of Brazil´s Goiás state, Renato Rocha, AKA Kurup describes his music as ´selva elettrica´ (Electric Forest) and listening to Minguante, it is as if his deep, electronic productions were filtered through the natural world - plants, insects, the dry wind, the moon. This EP was produced especially for Shika Shika and features remix from fellow Brazilian Pigmalião and Shika Shika founders History of Colour AKA El Búho & Barrio Lindo.

Kurup is currently a resident DJ in Sonido Trópico and part of Frente Bolivarista, Tropical Twista and Shika Shika family.
